If you want to go to Moroso one night, e-mail me.
Told you all he was nothing but hot air!
CHICKEN OUT!!! <= His homepage!!
I can't believe Improviz went to all that trouble to prove you theoretically wrong, and to challenge you to prove yourself by doing the race for real. Bullsh*tt*ng troll.
What excuse do you have now? Mid-terms probably.

Play that over and over to a hip hop beat...dude, you got PWNED!! Who's your daddy???
I hope you read this because, indirectly your smack talk about us old people who drive MB’s got me out to the drag strip for the first time in my life this Wednesday. Of course I had wanted to give it a blast in the past, but I wasn't sure what to expect and I admit I was a little intimidated.
But several guys on this forum posted stuff that woke me up, and I quote
Don't sweat it man, even if you run 14's on your first run (very likely since you get to feel out traction, etc). My first run with my E55, I got like 13.02 or something like that, then the 2nd run I was mid 12's then last run (I think it was the last, can't remember) I got low 12's. It takes some pratice and feel/understanding of your car. Although you will lose to all 55K cars but who cares (all of us 55K owners knew that from the beginning of this thread) in the end you'll understand your car better and you will probably leave the track having made a few more friends (Imprviz not included... )
Other than improviz, no one is going to bust on you no matter how you do at the track. In the end, we're all just car nuts.
1. the track is safe
2. Time slips are fun and will give you something to measure your performance with, this gives you a benchmark to strive for and makes you a better driver.
3. Noone has to tape anything, post the times slips is all
4. dude, in all you'll have a good time, you'll actually have fun with those guys, based on chill's posts, I'd bet he's a riot
I second that. We have all had bad, bad runs at the strip. Anybody that ranks on you for bad runs and less than stellar driving (2.5 second 60 foot times) has never tried to race a six speed at the strip. Just do it. C'mon. It will be fun. Just for showing up and trying - you will earn back some of the respect that you lost.
Reading these well balanced, informative and encouraging posts made me pluck up my courage and show up at Moroso this past Wednesday, not only to see you run, but to also find out what the hell this old fart in his boring old E55 could do.
Yeah, at 47 I am sure I am older than you, and I am sure that I am the type of driver that you were ragging on in your post on the M5 board, and I am sure your reaction time off the lights will be quicker than mine. But right now I know I can run a 12.5, I know my best trap speed is 114mph, and I know my best 60ft time is 1.99, and my slow reaction time is .224.
So when I go and post some implausible kill on our board, at least I have some credibility to my post. And believe me its not just M5 owners BS’ing about their cars – if you read my post in the Moroso thread, you will see that that best part of the night was having to listen to a fellow E55 owner BS that his car with minor mods can run 11.03 at 138mph. That one night of dragging has forever given me an understanding of what it takes to run sub 13sec ¼ mile (and notice too that I did screw up and run a 13.78), and has forever given me the insight to be able to detect BS the minute it is uttered.

So do yourself a favor – show up at Moroso – even if your M5 runs 13’s or 14’s it just doesn’t matter – what you will gain is a ton of knowledge. There will always be cars much faster than you and cars much slower than you. But you will have a blast, and you will not be able to wipe the grin off your face for a week.
I should know
Its till plastered to mine and I cant wait to go again

we as benzo owners who are not afraid of challenging him.... or he who successfully fools us and makes most of us emotional....
Hopefully, he's indeed pissing his pants now not laughing at us
0If it has to be done at the track and it will be videotaped, I will have my friend drive my car since he is an experienced track driver.

I think that he has a strong masochistic streak!
