Got the snows...

Just put the snows from Discount Tire. Falken rims with Michelen Pilot Aspin snows.

i live in nyc, do you honestly think a winter setups will help in the snow....rwd always fails in the snow..........

whats your opinion and how much was this setup

RWD does not always fail in snow. I live in Indiana, and also go to Canada often to visit family, and have done this with my Acura NSX in heavy snow quite often. Even lowered, I have never been stuck when I have my Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires mounted up. My M3 with snows was fine too.

This will be my first winter driving on snows so I really cant comment. The whole setup was about 1700 dollars including tire sensors.

Not true.....

63's love the snow and with the right winter tires they are awesome

Thanks for posting pics of your winter set up. They actually look pretty good and give the car a different look for the winter . . . . which is cool.

You should do just fine with dedicated snow tires and the transmission set to start in second gear (i.e. comfort).

I was thinking about using Spikes Spider Sport when I get stuck. What do you guys think?
