Post the dyno numbers of your m157 biturbo car

yes this is the third tune for my car.
i will also add that the initial launch of the car was on race start but i was off to the side of the road and had to slightly angle back into the first lane of the highway gradually crossing over those tractor grids (the ones to aid sleepy drivers veering off the road). Not sure if all that impacted the times at all and if so how much it did.

For using Race Start and with a ~1700' DA you are about where I was when I was EC stage 1 on 93 octane.
If you can work on a brake boost launch and get it down to 1.7 ish, you'll shave another 0.2 off your time.
I don't know what the higher octane will net you, but that 124 trap seems on par for the non-ethanol tunes...

Thanks the better of the numbers was 11:48 @125.21 and yet the DA i believe was worse as well as the temperature. My altitude is not as desired as some but then again, I am not sure what the yields would be from whatever is considered optimal?!?! I will add my car as tested is 4530lbs and I am shaving off a bit more by replacing the heavy stock brake system with race brakes...maybe I could lose a few pounds too LOL. Yea, I am not sure what the race gas will yield either, I am dying to know. I have tracked the weather here in New England and I just might be able to make a pass on Thursday. I have made contact with the NY fellow to acquire the TCU tune (the one from Germany) and should have that done soon as well.
What are you currently brake boosting at>?...Any recommendations or just trials??

It takes practice..but if done correctly you can see consistent 1.7's. with a stock TCU.

this is why its not really worth it (at retail prices) unless people get the style that eliminate the bridge pipe too (pipe that comes directly off the turbo)... the type of downpipes that ams and renntech sell mate up to the bridge pipe, not the turbo, so there's not really any gains as the main restriction is in the bridge pipe.
of the 3 main US tuners we see on the forum, only weistec replaces the bridge pipe with less restrictive one... there are a few other companies that have weistec clones like cks and boost logic
true downpipes should pickup about 40whp... (the weistec dyno's have shown this)

Obviously trading some restriction in either case when not catless but seems like eliminating the restriction that comes with the bridge gap pipe would be beneficial with or without cats.
Looking for best down pipe option for my AMS tuned 2016 E63s but hesitant to remove the cats

Thanks for your insight on brake boost. It seems to be paying off as I have improved on my numbers all in. I haven't found the sweet-spot yet but the numbers below were off my second attempt at 2000-rpm. The first time was from 2500-rpm but the car bogged down and went no where. I will try again...hopefully sooner than Monday as that's when I am getting the TCU tuned. At least I am going to get a good comparison for all this.

Are you running 100 octane now?
Congrats on the brake boosting. Tangible improvements.
Get that 60ft down another tenth and with the TCU tune you'll be knocking on 10's for sure...

Actually I am having a problem with the race gas tune in the hand held unit and should have word back by Monday. I would like to run the race gas tune and see where we are at. I did however mix a few gallons of 100 with 93. I can say with certainty that the mix had no impact because I tried it Again on Race Start and got the same 60ft and 1/4 mile time including trap speed...it was literally identical. I do attribute the better numbers solely from the brake boosting as it seemed to hook up and my 60ft went down from 1.98 to 1.85 just as you suggested it would. I am going to play around with it over the next week weather permitting and see if I can improve getting in to 1.7 range. Though, the TCU tune is going to change all this nonetheless. I am suspecting and crossing my fingers for the coveted 10’s and will be delighted if I can achieve my goal. I am not a big 1/4 mile guy as I prefer a roll race vs from a dig, but still want that 10’s achievement under my belt.

Why would showing the same trap speed (or 1/4 ET, etc.) using RS mean that the extra octane didn't have any impact?
I'd think you'd have to compare to some runs with 93 octane to say that it didn't have an impact.

I did do multiple runs two days prior with 93 octane. So imo I felt there wasn’t a impact with the mix.

So here is my first attempt at this dragy device. I am hoping someone can tell me if these are good numbers based on the slope and DA etc. all of which I know little about as it relates to the numbers. I honestly do not not know which is better or worse...which it optimal or a goal?? The 1/4 time times from pic 1 to pic 2 seem better but not sure why exactly. Perhaps someone could help to better explain this a little for me. Although the temp on dragy said 46F on one and 50F on the other, my car was registering a different number. 52F on one and second pass (11.48 1/4) was 58F. As for mods... I have UPD spacers and high flow air filters, catlesss mid pipes (non turbo back) and no mufflers. In additional I am running one-step colder spark plugs. *** All these numbers from dragy are on 93 and not race gas 100. I will do a pass or two with race gas 100, but need to run through the 93. I am hoping to do that in a day or two but the weather is supposed to rain this week so I am not sure when I can. I guess more to follow on the race gas 100 dragy pass.
2013 E63s 212.075 Rear wheel drive - Stage II ecu tune, 200 cpsi cats and bmc filters 11.54 @124mph, 1.8 thru the trap. Surely these AWD e's are moving quicker then mine? Can anyone pluck a dyno figure from my time slip? Lol

Canned "Stage 2" 93 tune from Boosted Benz and ECC.
Downpipes, BB intake
Reading that others are making 100lbs more torque. Tuner recommended keeping curve flat and safe for DD and focus on a more aggressive E tune for the track. What do you guys think of that and this curve?
