Post the dyno numbers of your m157 biturbo car
Im thinking of buying a 2013-2014 E63 and curious what kind of power most car on this forum is making. I've seen stock range from 470hp to as high as 540hp at the wheel. For those that have dyno their car. Please post your number whether stock or modify. Both would be even better so all of us can see the increase before and after. Please list your mods and tune.

This is the issue, the prices they are charging for just down pipes is silly...
If it were a complex header design then maybe i can understand, but for simple semi straight pipes costing 3-5k is just

My exhaust shop said all they needed was the turbo to down pipe gasket and they would use that as a template to get the flange made and the rest of the pipe is no problem at all to make. I decided to just cut out the cats if fear of wearing them out as my car already has high mileage. Picking it up in a few hours, can't wait to hear it.

this is why its not really worth it (at retail prices) unless people get the style that eliminate the bridge pipe too (pipe that comes directly off the turbo)... the type of downpipes that ams and renntech sell mate up to the bridge pipe, not the turbo, so there's not really any gains as the main restriction is in the bridge pipe.
of the 3 main US tuners we see on the forum, only weistec replaces the bridge pipe with less restrictive one... there are a few other companies that have weistec clones like cks and boost logic
true downpipes should pickup about 40whp... (the weistec dyno's have shown this)

yeah i agree at the price you got its worth it, but at $3000 like renntech and ams, not really worth it.. now if the ams/renntech pipes did replace the restrictive bridge pipe then i would have no problem paying $3K for them
