H&R Lowering Springs Question
So I finally put my H&Rs on my car and I am more than disappointed in the drop.... I have seen many other cars with far more drop than what mine have give me. Granted, I know springs can take a little time to settle, I expected to be almost on top of the tire with the fender. I didn't take measurements from the fender to the ground, but with the H&Rs I sit at 26.5" front and the links dropped the rear to 24.5" .... can anyone else confirm their fender height to ease my frustration? The links dropped the rear literally to tuck the tire and it looks like it's draggin ***.. maybe when I adjust it up tomorrow it will help to lower the front a bit?... thoughts?.. Here are a couple of pics.. not the greatest.. First is stock, last two are post suspension

Raising the back today. Also, my links came with some terrible rubber grommets to go inside the actual connection part. The link would not go over the other connector with those rubber grommets. I feel like they are rattling because of the metal on metal. Even though there isn’t much tension on the link itself. Did anyone else have this issue?

Raised the rear a bit. I think it could stand a little more. Maybe give it a week and see if the front springs settle a bit.

i agree- ive seen cars much lower than yours with the springs (front). maybe it will settle? how hard were the springs/links to install? Car looks awesome

The springs were relatively easy. Having another set of hands would have literally cut the time in half though. The hardest part was getting the strut back into place with one person. I used a couple tricks, jack and some scraped knuckles. Took me 3 hours all said and done but I also had a lift and a wall mounted spring compressor. I could do them in about 2 hours now since I know exactly how they go in. Let me know if you need any help if/when you do yours. I have a DIY from the CLS forum that is identical to the E.

thanks man. I absolutely love the mystic Blue. I wasn’t necessarily searching for it, but once I saw it I had to have it.
