E63 S shifting issues




The module that lies under that button is basically unobtanium (no longer made/stocked). There is a procedure where you can remove it and solder some pins that might work…it worked so far for me, though I still search for that replacement part occasionally




I mean nothing works. It does not shift into any gear. Nothing at all. I shift up and down, and nothing. I literally have to shut the car off from D and then turn it back on so it can go into Park on its own. It does this sporadically. Once a day or maybe twice at most. It happened when I first bought the car and now it’s been happening for a week straight.
