Yep exactly. Sure must be tempting for current owners. Question is when will you be able to get another one? There aren't a whole lot of other options out there right now either. I can't wait to get my wagon back...

MB and BMW new car buyers are conditioned to losing like half in a couple years time. Now you may only lose 10-20%. The used ones aren't selling for the prices listed even though Mercedes isn't producing a 2022.

Well, I was thinking about the new Audi e-Tron. Great styling, awesome interior color combinations. I really like my E63S, but I'm not married to it at all. I've got to drive the Audi and take it all in. There will not be any more E63S wagons produced as a W213. Maybe on the new W214 platform in 2024, but probably a hybrid drivetrain. I have a 7-year MB extended warranty that I purchased a while ago just in case I decided to keep the wagon (it is transferable). There is an e-Tron available here in Cary for $161,000 in Red. Not my color but an edition 1.

For people looking for value, it's hard not to sell most everything right now when it comes to high-end luxury goods including watches and cars. I have a Rolex collection that I'm thinking about replacing with an Apple Watch.

I sold my 2021 E63S sedan today, bought a 2022 BMW X5 for a DD and put my name on the Porsche 911 GTS list. Truth be told we decided to build a house 2 months ago and I need something I can drive to a construction site, plus the house will have a oversized 3 1/2 car garage I can put the GTS in. I didn't make any money on the deal but I did get out fairly unscathed.

Crazy! Sales manager said he would take $25k ADM on that exact car several weeks ago, when this and the LA matte black wagon were available. I do believe that this spec sold after the LA spec. I just feel they are extremely exaggerating to boost this stupid market.

I have one, for 2 weeks now, acceleration is more brutal and ridiculous at 100mph then the Veyron SS I had for a test drive on a long weekend in France.
Frankly, the mind boggling performance of Plaid should be illegal to just buy by anyone without some professional training first.
1/4 mile in low 9s and trap over 150????
Crazy, in a family sedan on top of it.
I do admire the technology and the ease of living with that car but in the end I am not yet ready to switch to electric permanently, can not wait for the M5 CS I have coming.
Fit and finish is OK, better then I expected but then, it is more on par with a Toyota Camry (base model) and definitely not a $135k car.
As for Yoke wheel, it has some benefits (better visibility of screen in front of you) and some disadvantages, like more difficulties when making a turn requiring more then 90degree wheel movement.
Overall, still prefer a conventional steering wheel.
Frankly, the mind boggling performance of Plaid should be illegal to just buy by anyone without some professional training first.

Personally, I wouldn’t own it. I had a deposit and canceled that.

^^^You never know, maybe 30 seconds. Hate idea of buckets in this car. Still on tilt from selling one of the best 2021 wagon builds back to dealer for $15k loss after only 600 miles.
Plan is to get M5 CS, Tesla S Plaid and another wagon (but not my build), and keep my favorite forever. Lol
