Anyone brave enough to upgrade the headlights on a 2021 E63S to full adaptive operation? All of the posts are for prior year vehicles. I know that the end effect is worth it.

Do you mean a hardware upgrade or the $200-600 software upgrade that "unlocks" it?
Whenever my car finally arrives, I'm planning to have RJ Automotive do a host of coding mods, including the headlights. They mention MBUX throughout their services so I don't think it matters what model year W/S213. Also, before I commit to them I'll be verifying that they image the OEM config so we can restore everything should something go wrong (which shouldn't be a problem, standard procedure per my prior experiences).

Software upgrade. All of the necessary components already exist on the car. The controller Software and logic need to be modified to the European coding.
Thought about upgrading entire headliner to Dynamica but decided to only do my A-pillars and sun visors. Just realized this quote forgot the sun visors. Will order and share part numbers if anyone is interested.

I don't understand the motivation here, but having the sun visors in Dynamica against the regular cloth is going to look uncoordinated IMO. Are you not going to do the B-pillars as well?
Interested in the part #s for the sun visors, provided they are they are of the dual visor variety. Really miss the 2nd visor which I have in my Passat wagon...

I'm familiar with the software upgrade... it's been detailed in several threads... I simply didn't recall whether you were referencing a hardware swap, which seems like it'd be a much more involved process. Software should be very easy as there are multiple options available (Vlad, RJ, DIY, etc).
May have found another wagon. If so, mine will be for sale for $140k. Paying tax both ways plus a markup on new wagon. Would love for this car to go to a fellow enthusiast. Will keep you posted. Please DM me if you have any interest in a perfect black wagon with under 1,000 miles.

OK, so what are the specs? Probably a good move if you are not happy with your current ride.
Here's a new one with the Dynamica headliner and night package, Obsidian Black, Titanium/yellow stiching. No CCBs however.

The world turned upside down! All of these exorbitant prices on NEW E63S wagons with ADM and USED E63S wagons with thousands of miles selling for more than their MSRP are reminding me of the Dutch tulip bulb craze in 1637! Usually, new AMG vehicles lose 20% of their value as the taillights leave the dealer showroom. Obviously, I need to change my auto insurance for market replacement value. I'm so glad that I purchased my wagon for $1500 above the dealer invoice. It's probably now worth a market value of $190,000 with the CCB's and full carbon fiber trim. However, I'm not into frequency trading and I plan to keep it for at least another two years.I have an SL63 on order (no delivery date yet) to keep the wagon company.
^^^I know Harris. It's insanity. I probably shouldn't contribute to this madness and keep my black wagon. I have a pre-owned with ceramics I'm trying to negotiate a deal on. It has yellow stitching (ugh) but the rest of the build is perfect.
I'm not in this for the money and almost always lose on cars. Haha but I'm certain I don't want a black daily driver, and ceramic brakes are a must. One option is to bite the bullet and install ceramic brakes but I hate modifying cars (and equally hate relying on dealers to do a good job). This is the type of car you can keep forever as it's as close to perfect DD as you'll ever find. I will only ask what I have in this car if I can work a deal out on the graphite. Problem is people get greedy, especially when they see cars selling for silly prices.
I'm in Canada, otherwise I'd be all over it. I love what you've done to your current wagon.
Hey if your serious their is a new black wagon advertised at both Mercedes Regina and also Mercedes West Edmonton. With the current exchange ratio you would be money ahead to check out both of these.

Me dealer let me do an in and out trade, so I found the buyer for my trade in but then run the sale through my dealer as if I traded it in and that saved me the tax on almost half the purchase price. Not sure if they do this in the states but was sure a nice bonus for me.

OK, I posted the wagon (new), Obsidian Black color, and VIN that is located in Arcadia, California, but, alas, no CCB's. Graphite (that's my color) still gets a bit dirty, but not as bad as black (I had black car before and I swore I would never own another one). The best color for dirt hiding is Selenite IMO. I think that you don't pass the litmus test of not modifying your cars from your previous posts.
The last 5/6 cars I've sold have been on auction sites. You cannot beat the results. I found a wagon but can't get the guy down from $30k over. It's not even new. Lol
