Has anyone see any of the final editions in Canada yet? Wondering if they came with the base headlights like the one's in the US in this thread.
One showed up in Durham and the dealer called me and said my wagon had arrived....He then called me back 2 hours later and said it was someone else's and mine is still on a train somewhere.
He sent me pics...It's a very nice setup. This one that came spec'd with CCB's but I don't think it was supposed to be. Lucky guy/gal.
There is a final edition wagon at Mercedes Benz of Cincinnati near me...I walked by and looked at it when I was ordering a piece of door trim I need. I think they are asking $170k+ for it. The trim piece on the passenger door just below the window was popped out of place...sorta need to figure those things out if you want $170k for a car...
New wagon design released. Well done. Clean. We need a non off-road version in the US. It will sell. Still heinous fake exhaust tips (people should lose their jobs) but I'm digging most everything else. Wonder how it drives?
No rear-wheel steering is a miss. I'd take mine in 6-cylinder diesel but that'll never make it to the US. Diesel plug-in hybrid may prove to be the best power train ever.
S214 makes out S213s look like antiques ?. What's amazing is the former is a bit larger in size but looks smaller. Certainly more aerodynamic.
All kidding aside, ours are no slouches. Many things much better, especially the hand-built V8.

It’s definitely appealing design wise, that’s its strength. But plenty of negatives:

Interior is a mixed bag especially the “digital” vent system and a “selfie camera.”
And of course, no V8 engines. They can keep their three litre inline six and shove it you know where.

It really is. The interior in video makes me feel like being in a fancy modern office building. It does give a feel.
At first I wasn't crazy about the new interior design language but the shock is over and now I like it, lol.

I had overlooked this in my wagon because the interior is covered in Dynamica and the vents are also dark grey! However, the 2021 Owner's Manual did not call out that feature being present. I found that they had been shut all of this time!

For the W213/S213, B-pillar rear air vents are only on cars with optional rear AC. Won't find them on FE cars...
I confirmed that the vents were operational and not dummies. Silly me for not noticing.
I only noticed in my W212 when taking pictures of the interior. They really hide in the Alacantara.
I also didn't know that Park Assist would parallel park for me until 3 years into ownership.

So my wagon has arrived at the dealership and about take possession. The PPF from the dealer was 3M which I wasn't crazy about so I got in touch with a local dealer of STek. My wagon is Black (not obsidian).
Question is Matte Satin it out or keep it glossy??

btw, which shop are you going with for the STEK film. My understanding is the STEK brand distribution rights had ceased to exist as Xpel bought out the brand's territorial rights in Canada.
I myself called many GTA shops as well as nobody seem to have it unless they are to order this film from the US distributor and the shop will simply add the costs onto the job.

Pureauto out of Mississauga. He gets the STek from Seattle I believe. I’ll know more later on in the week
