Well unfortunately UK usually gets poor treatment in general there are many options that aren't available at all in UK, not just on the final edition. MBUK is just like that.

I am a big fan of Graphite, in both versions.
M5 CS is a significantly better driver's car versus E63S. Not even close. I am still amazed by that M5. Imagine if BMW made a wagon version with comfortable M5 seats? Sign me up (even at $177k).
I was a diehard BMW fan for like 40 years. Now I'm kind of embarrassed by the brand. M5 CS was an anomaly. Quite fascinating what they're capable of though.

RBR is insane. He actually bought the upgraded headlights (weren't available due to supply constraints) and had them installed on his FE wagon. Major job. Only wish he'd figure out a way to center the front camera. Lol

Apparently whoever bought this is picking it up today! I was on some long list if the deal broke down. The person just traded this spec in for the 2023 in the same color🤑!

Calling MBUSA customer service to complain about my buying experience. Keep getting hang up on me after going through phone labyrinth and before a human answers. Does Mercedes have any regard for customer service? Have a feeling they don't but will let you know how it goes.
BTW, I'm not at all complaining about the delays. I am complaining about total lack of communication and customer care.

^^^98% certain this is exactly the case, Harris. But I'm at the end of my rope and this is just my last ditch effort. Mercedes truly doesn't deserve my business.
What's making this a little more frustrating is my wife's E350 wagon has a dreaded suspension fault and is out of commission. Dealer can't get me in for service until end of Sept and I've been forced to rent a car.

I doubt that customer service will have any information about the VPC status of your wagon. There must be something significantly wrong with the build that is causing the delay in shipping. Sorry that this is happening to you. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a communication path from the dealership to the VPC. I've asked my salesperson if this lack of communication is "normal" and he told me that it was. Really sucks.

^^^Thank you very much for thinking about me. Will definitely consider when the time comes if I still don't have a car at that point. In lieu of another new AMG, I started entertaining the thought of picking up a clean, low-mileage 2020 E450 for $50k and keeping $100k in short term treasuries earning over 5%. Negotiating with a dealer right now but they're asking too much.

if you sell before your lease termination that is OK. I won't have the Cash until 2024. New $8K AC/Heater Roof combo unit erased savings last month along with the usual GT Tuition expense...paid cash to avoid Financing. Ex lives 10-minutes away from UNC Caudill Labs.

Carfax indicates one personal owner bought it from Florida. My guess is they got it at sticker (or less), noticed some of the big asking prices over MSRP...as seen in this thread, up to $100k...and consigned it with the selling NJ dealer on BaT to see if they could make a quick buck. But it was not to be, so maybe they keep it and enjoy it.
But now there is an ugly comp out there for the 44 (per MBUSA.com) new cars on dealer lots. Starve the market then saturate it, while leaving loyal customers without allocations. What a collosal f-up by MB.
