Agreed. SA will get the facts correct when vehicle arrives at dealership not far from VPC Brunswick. It was not his Sale.

Would be nice to have ANOTHER ONE on the East Coast especially since Daughter recently took Private Sector Job in Reston, Virginia. 2021 AMG Wagon is amazing but weather between the Southwest and the SE has been terrible the past few months.

Even $236K would require a jackpot from the Lottery...after 2026 when Son graduates now from GA Tech, might start traveling again before Passport Expires and health is still good...

Those prices have to be wrong but paying 100k over sticker for an FE is insane.
Ok, I know it’s a wild guess but what do you think that car will be worth in 5-10 years? 5yrs around 90 and 10 about 50-60? Or does anyone really think these things will stay that high? Just curious.

I'd be more bullish if "Helicopter Ben" were still at the Fed, rather than that econ-killer, Jerry Powell. QE is dead and rates will cause a legacy of pain.

So hard to tell imho. If they're kept pristine and not driven, maybe in 20-30 years they'll be worth some nice money. But 5-10 years? No way. They're being replaced by faster, safer, more efficient variants. I fought the idea of electric for a long time, but after test driving a Taycan Turbo, I was sold. Don't get me wrong, I love my 21' E63, and I'll probably hold it for a while and drive it into the ground, but the future is inevitable. At least I can look back one day and say I had the last V8 and enjoyed every minute of it.

Truly agree! I do enjoy driving my E63S wagon. I'm also certain that i will be replacing it next year and purchasing an EQE SUV in its stead. I'm not married to the vehicle for certain.

Mine is a regular sedan, I stumbled into the dealer allocation in Jan after it was locked in final production. It’s spec’d mostly identical to the final edition, it was stuck at the VPC since 3/1 waiting for the 2023’s to be released. Pricing for the regular 2023 was released last summer and finalized on the actual invoices in Feb.

The final edition is in at my dealership. But I withdrew from the acquisition process.

Way, way too much money for the differences from my 2018 which only has 22k

miles on the clock.

I will wait. I'm interested for the Corvette E-Ray, the RS6 Performance and who knows, maybe the next E63S if it doesn't have 4 cylinders.

So the sedan comes with ceramic brakes but not the wagon.

For Canada, ceramic but no race seats.I was told that the AMG sport seats lost their homologation in Canada because some seats broke during accident.

They are no longer allowed in any AMG in Canada. Love mine.

I wonder what my E63S 2021 wagon will sell for after seeing the FE abortion which is missing so many desirable options unlike mine which has them all. Maybe 175K $ ?

What will you get to replace your Wagon once you sell it? If you get that EQE be prepared to keep it longterm...If I cleared $100K because I needed the money would probably go down market to an Agricultural 2023 Subaru Crosstrek with manual transmission. There are a few left in the NE. Sold my 2013 when initially retired in 2015.

Getting ready for East Coast Trip to visit Daughter now in Virginia. She left the DoD and took Microsoft job. Checked AMG Wagon Coolant Level this morning and it is fine! Had Service A completed last year before driving Son's new Kia Soul to GA then to Maryland. Took the Amtrak from BWI to watch Daughter walk at MIT a year after her virtual graduation. Currently have 9000-miles on AMG's Odometer.

Keep us posted if you sell your fully loaded E63s Wagon (with unlocked night time illumination upgrade) for $175K!

I only lease mercedes cars. However , this time I'll purchase it from the lease (buyout is 78k) and then resell it to another forum member. I've also looked at the Lexus RZ as a possibility as well.

There's a beautifully-spec'd 2021 with 210 miles for sale now for a couple months with all options. Started asking $180k I believe now down to $159k. I'd buy it over Final Edition if I were in the market. https://www.autotrader.com/marketpla...autotrader.com

Pending sale, that was a snag!

I ended up selling mine to a dear friend for MSRP with 10k miles and a promise I could buy it back someday. Replaced it with what I believe is the only thing you could possibly “upgrade” to…

Why are you so outrage as if the money came out of your pocket? Some people pay for things that we don't find of value and some others don't. So it is what it is. People pay for what they want.

Because charging 100k over MSRP and getting it encourages dealers to continue the practice. People complain about absent options as well.

Yes the FE is missing desirable options I agree....but people should be able to spend what they see fit and dealer are also humans that need to make money....we can't be say " Yeah I want that expensive car. But nah, salesperson should starve and not make a dime."
