BTW, is your silver ‘63 Corvette a split window?

Wondering if I should get a higher end Autel or cheaper reader or just bite the bullet and get the Benz Ninja system https://mbworld.org/forums/w213-amg/...endations.html
And of course I will take it to the dealer, but, I am also a curious guy and would love to start seeing if anything shows up in a module scan while the no boost is happening.
FYI I WAS GOING TO BOOK ECC THIS MONTH. lol. Everytime I think about tuning... something happens...

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

At least in getting a lot of WOT time!
Xentry system ordered from the BenzNinja for digging deeper whenever I want. Excited to see the inner workings of things.

- Intelligent Light System activation
- Lane Change Flash from 3 to 5
- Changed temperature units from C to F (Canada car)
- Battery swap registration
- Ensuring suspension module software was latest version
I also like to do a lot of diagnostics/DIY and having access to Xentry/WIS (Workshop Information System) makes the car so much less of a black box.

How easy is it to just read "deep codes" that OBDII scanners might not pickup?

Fronts are now 20x10.5" ET37 and 15mm spacer makes ET22.
This works as it's already tested with that black test wheel in earlier posts. However, with this fitment the poke is 4mm inward vs the popular 20x10 ET12 275/35 setup. I'd love to push it out more but did not feel safe testing by stacking more spacers on the conical test wheel using ball-seat bolts etc. so...
Fronts with 20mm spacer makes ET17 and will put the poke right where the popular 20x10 ET12 wheel poke is. We will find out when the wheels get back if this spacer and poke will fit with 285's. I have a feeling it may only work with 275's, or everyone would already be running 285's, we will see.
Rears are now 11" ET67. 15mm Spacer makes ET52. Right inline with the popular 20x11 ET52 so I don't think there will be any issues.
Tire Options in order of preference are:
1.
305/35 285/35 Which is the current taller oversized tires that were on the stock rims. If they fit while lowered and feel sporty I will run them. If the wollowy soft feel doesn't improve, or they rub, I will go with the next option. I found when switching to winter tires on properly sized rims that they felt so much better then the oversize summer ultra high performance tires bulging on stock rims. If a winter setup drives better than a Summer setup, something is wrong lol. I'm really hoping it was incorrect rim specs and not just the fact they are taller tires. Crossing fingers the wider rims get the sidewall geometry correct and tighten up the feel. I hope so as Ferrari and other's run 305/35 on 11's so it can't be inherently bad. But if it is for this car then...
2.
295/30 square front and rear. This will depend on looks and how much more stretch the 11" rear wheel gives the 295 tire vs the 10.5" front wheel zero stretch. If it's not noticeably stretched compared to the front then I am super stoked for a square setup. If the rear tire or stance doesn't look quite right then the last option is...
3.
305/30 295/30 - Both front and rear should have zero tire stretch or bulge, being on the ideal wheel width for their respective sizes.
I can't wait for the wheels to arrive so I can start mounting tires!

If this turns out to be a fail with spacers I’ll have to just bite the bullet and change the look of the car with aftermarket wheels. I just haven’t fallen in love with any. It would actually be cheaper to just get something aftermarket like these or anything from BC Forged. I just could not stray from stock look attracting even more VTec racers. https://e6carbon.com/product/s30m-monoblock-wheels/

I asked what exactly needed to be CNC'd and crickets.

Also been getting the 12V Battery error more and more.
Overnight CTEK will no longer charge the battery - red light comes on in Stage 5 indicating battery cannot hold a charge.
Yesterday CEL came on (finally)!
I got the kit from @BenzNinja and scanned:
P023400 The boost pressure of turbocharger 1 is too high.
Car is at the lake so I will pull the battery, take it to the dealer Monday, swap it, put in the new battery and take it to the dealer appointment Tuesday for the Turbo over boost error.
Battery won’t hold a charge
Installing the BenzNinja hard drive in my scanner laptop
