Does the raise function still work with the Cete lowering module? IEI need to pull out of a parking lot with a steep transition I can now press the raise button (lower left dash on my 2018) and it raises it about an inch. I'd like to keep that ability.

Here's a non-emotion "regular" cold start with the exhaust flaps open

Very nice. These cars sound fine stock though. As a daily driver, I really don't want to hear it too much but that's just me. Also, know I'm in the minority, I don't want to accentuate the gurgles and pops as they get on my nerves. This was the video I made for mine for BaT.

JMO, nothing wrong with being loud if that's what you enjoy... as long as it's a motor worthy of being loud of course. Loud 4-cylinders make my hair hurt.

I prefer a good tone/melody (if you will) over volume, so if it sounds good with a bit volume and not obnoxious that is a win in my book. Pretty sure many don't agree with me because they think the louder an exhaust is, the better it sounds or the better (in general). To me a good sounding exhaust is an exhaust that has a good pitch and tone. (Probably a bad example but opera singer anyone?)

To me yes. It is deeper and throatier not just louder in the lower RPM range. Not raspy and loud like the kids like to do it. Remember by the time the car hits 4,000 RPM it's exactly like stock anyhow since that's when the flaps would open. So if you input more then part throttle you blow by 4,000 in a nanosecond and it's what you are used to hearing stock. The flap mod is for C and S in tool-around mode. It doesn't really do anything for when you are on it unless you forgot to push the Perf Exh button when you started the car in the first place.
A good analogy is it's like a big block boat lumping and idling out of the marina. Is it LOUD? No. Does it make the hair stand up on my arms? Yes. That's what flaps open does for me idling and part throttle. It's just audibly growly now all the time. If you have a thing for THAT V8 noise, and it gets you in the heart, you will love open flaps. Stock I could barely hear the car when inside. Now I hear it all the time and love it.

I just tried this and it did raise the vehicle. However my suspicion is it only raises it the inch from the "new" lowering baseline -22 (or whatever) is set. I can do more testing on the weekend measuring from the fenders.

Wow, that lowering is spot on. Now you're starting to make me wonder if I should get into lowering as well. Maybe I'm a partial copy-cat I dunno.
I mean it's not too aggressive (in my personal taste that is). It's like.. "perfect."

@I.T. Guy How does the lowered suspension feel vs the OEM height?

How do you remove the module for warranty/service work at MB? Easy process?

Today I took it to my regular dealer, not the dealer I bought it from. My regular dealer I love just ordered all new trim. I'm never cheating on them again. I bought them Starbucks gift cards for when I pickup the car tomorrow.
Mercedes Oakville rocks.

Dude, this is total BS IMO, especially given the MSRP of this model. Wow.
Sorry you're having to deal with this man. If you're up for it, I would bring it to another dealer and if they can't resolve the issues, I would escalate.
It's sad that you now have to engage in a battle just to have things lined up correctly. There is no excuse for that trim being they way it is... even on a new $30K car.

Holy **** dude. That service story. I was livid just reading that. There's no way to put the genie back in the bottle with your oil sample now. The trim thing. Ugh. Let us know how Oakville goes.
My own (very) limited experience w/ Oakville service is that they wouldn't send a tech upstairs to remove my Pedal Commander from the E53 trade-in (open the accelerator pedal housing, unplug a molex connector, plug back into original, screw back the housing, done. 5 min job, 0.1 units of labour). I had to schedule an appointment, and they tried to charge me for it and I told them to pound sand, you're doing it for free. I'm dropping premium money on a brand new E63s. Of course they did but I had to escalate to one of the sales managers to do it.
Oh well. I know they treat you quite well there. Hopefully they recognize the trim and pano shade issue. My pano shade doesn't have that issue. I don't care how many cars come with that defect, it's unacceptable. That's the whole point of it.
