Trade my e63s for a newer lower mileage GT63s?
I love my e63s (2019.) I found a 2023 e63s for sale but it’s several states away and more than I want to spend, (throw in winter tires, ppf , ceramic coating because it’s black magno.) found a local gt63s (2020,) that’s certified one owner with new tires brakes. The dealer is obviously telling me the gt drives the same. Does anyone have any opinions on the two?

this question made me pause. My reasoning for the trade would be as follows…
1.) gaining a year and 22k miles.
2.) better spec than my e63 (more options.)
3.) more warranty time
the question made me pause because I had to think about the pros and cons. I like the “under the radar” vibe with my e63. It’s comfortable for long drives yet fun to race around.

what is the asking price of the GT63s ? If they are offering you a good trade in for your E63S and at the same time, the GT63S is listing for a reasonable price, maybe it is worth considering.

90k on the gt. This is why I’m considering. 181k new msrp. No accidents, one owner, new brakes tires plugs, one owner, and gold oil CARFAX.

I would wanna be further away from the RMS issue, and not sure if 2020's will be affected (e63 or gt63). Anecdotal info says the new parts resolved it in 2020 (see sticky); that being said there's a few links below one of which is a 2020 GT63 model with an oil leak, another one suggest a 2022 m177 has an rms leak

that being said, the cost of repairing the oil vapor separator and the rear main seal is down to about $5800 (some dealers still charging excess of $8,000) in the most recent post (and the cost of the emotional disappointment you may feel when it happens) so if you factor that as a possible repair on either your current 2019 or your future purchase, it's not that big of a deal compared to what it would cost to get you into a 2023 E63

Wow, tough situation! But glad you were covered by the warranty. How many miles did you have? And how were the leaks discovered? Was it during a routine inspection, or were they doing other work on your car?? Any puddles on you garage floor prior?
