Arrow Still looking great after 262k!!

I just did my valve gaskets and breather covers as well as all the breather hoses today. Took me about 7 hours with cleaning everything really well. Figure I saved my self around 700 in labor. I spent 80 on parts. But my car just hit 262k and it still looks great under the valve covers. Mobil1 0-40 FTW! These cars are bullet proof if you take care of them. Would have never thought of doing this on my own, but after tons of research I figured what the hell! Took my time and stayed patient and everything came out well. I hope it seals up great and lasts another 250k!

Great! (Knock on wood!) I had to replace the tcu once because trans fluid had leaked out of the boot and made it malfunction. Thats about it!

Beautiful man, looks great inside. Maintenance really is the key. Which is why I'm a 3K mile oil no matter what guy. Between Mobile 1 and Royal Purple every 3K in my vehicles, I've NEVER had internal engine issues.... EVER!

I bought this 208 with 130k I change the oil every 8-10k I think 3k is great but I can't afford every 3k oil changes. Plus with 0-40 it should last 8-10 before it breaks down. Either way I am very happy with how she has held up and continues to run excellent!

I agree completely, I just came from the Turbo world where you really need to do it every 3K, so it kind of stuck with me since then. I'll have to literally try to get myself to the 5K point... and I baby my clk, literally, I never get on it.

What kinda turbo car did you have? I definitely wouldn't say I never get on my car. I am always getting on it and even redline every once in a while just to kinda break the cob webs out. haha I just did motor and trans mounts today and she feels solid as a rock again.

Thank you. I have a Canon T1i with a 24-105 f4L. The lens is where it's at. Super sharp glass. I love photography.
