We’re giving you the first-drive video of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4MATIC — a car you think would wake you up with its 577 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, but it’s still a Mercedes-Benz S-Class; a car very conducive to helping you fall asleep due to its immense comfort. Commenters on this site have remarked the W222 S63 AMG “sounds too hushed” and we agree. Yes, it’s an S-Class, and it should be quiet, but it’s an AMG, so it should be loud when you want it to scare the crap out of innocent people in the supermarket parking lot.

Besides being too quiet, it’s still a great car, even for $160,000. If I had the dough, I’d buy one.
