Hitchhiker Rides Wickedly Fast AMG C63, Remains Calm

By -

Hitchhiker’s reaction to burnouts and silly antics in a C63 is surprising, yet, hilarious.

Two friends in Palm Beach, Florida, were up to some mischief the other day with their C63 AMG. Knowing how fast their car is, they come up with a creative idea; pick up a hitch hiker for a few miles and give him a ride he’ll never forget. As it turns out, it was a ride that stay a fond memory for all three.

Cheerful faces were seen when the hitchhiker got in the AMG, knowing exactly what it is, and suggesting the AMG could easily take on some Mustangs that had just rumbled by.

Of course, next thing you know, the C63 driver is pulling burnouts and flying down Florida’s I-95 interstate. But it’s the conversation between the friends and the hitchhiker that’s really awesome.

“Where are you off too?”

“Anywhere up North”

“you seem to be pretty comfortable with being driven fast.”

“I had a 454 in 1967, with 31 inch drag tires and a 4000 stall converter”

“So you’re accustomed to fast cars!”

“The rest of my family drove modified and things like that.”

As it turns out, the two friends in the C63 were on their way to a cars and coffee style car show and even invited the hitchhiker to go to the car show with them, having made a new friend along the way. But all he wanted was to be dropped off at a truck stop, probably using it as a portal to some other destination further up the highway.

We know what you’re thinking by now: “don’t pick up a hitchhiker!” And while that still remains true just for obvious personal safety reasons, it was neat to see how picking up a stranger could have a fun story to go with it.
