The style of your car says a lot about you. Whether it’s sporty or subdued, everyone wants their car to have a particular look and feel. It affects how others view you, and how you view yourself. That’s why the aftermarket segment is so large.

But what happens when there isn’t an aftermarket to help you out? Simple: You do it yourself.

Take, for example, our forum member dafeiju and his 2012 C200. There just isn’t that much that can be done with the car. One modification dafeiju wanted badly was to switch from a single exit exhaust to dual tips. There were a couple of ways he could have gone about accomplishing it.

First, he could have just put a C300 diffuser and a fake tip on. That would’ve sucked, though. Instead, he welded in a secondary exhaust pipe from the muffler to the opposite side of the car for the exit. It’s rather ingenious, and the finished product looks great.
