Hey all,
Just thought id say hey. Always nice to find some other members on here from Australia!
My cars a 2004 E270CDI with AMG Kit and a few other little mods.
Why aren't there any meetups in Melbourne for benz drivers?

G'Day ***** I'm also from Melbourne Australia
You'll probably find like myself that not too many people venture out of the specific forum section/s that specifically relates to their car/s, but there are many other Australian members on this forum and lots of those are also from Melbourne
There are at least 4 other C Class Coupe owners from Melbourne and we do intend to get together for a mini meet at some point when all have taken delivery of their vehicles, we'll keep you posted

Hello all, it's been a while since responding in this thread
I'm up for a meet, of course depending on set time and place.
A small group of 3 of us Melb. C Class Coupe owners tried to get together a couple of months back, but it didn't happen
Right at the last minute on the day 2 out of the 3 had something come up, so it was cancelled.
Hopefully the next meet can be a larger group, so if people have last minute circumstances come up, there'll still be enough of a group to catch up, it can cover all models and years of MB's not just specific types as we attempted for the C Class Coupe

I had a research a while back and recently too regarding the goodridge SS. It doesnt make any difference for street use and the threads I read seemed pretty inconclusive. The 32 brakes will pull up your car well mate. Go Motul 5.1 or 600 fluid (3-4 litres) for a full flush. ($100-140) and textar seem to be the gem. Did you get new pads? Akebono, pagid, hawk, ebc etc? Akebono's FTW!

The 5.1 seems to be the best for value and performance (the 600 is track territory and needs to be replaced every 6-12months as opposed to 5.1 - 2yrs) Penrite make a super Dot 4 but its close to $45 per litre aswell. Heres a thread on the ss lines. https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c55-amg-w203/318079-anybody-have-goodridge-ss-brake-lines.html

Hi everyone, anyone from Melbourne still active on this thread ?
I have a 2015 C63s AMG, and am based in Melbourne.
I'm wondering where you guys go to have your car modded, body kit, tune etc ?
thanks!

Nice to "meet" you all! Thought I'd jump in too. Also located in Melbourne.
Previously drove a relatively modified 2017 CLA250 but had to upgrade to something slightly bigger due to the welcoming of our baby girl.
Now driving a 2021 GLA35. Have had some exhaust work done, new intake (MST Performance), coding to get extra features (and turn some annoying ones off), and just got brake calipers painted a custom gold..

Hi fellow Melbournians, a new local member here.
Wondering where do you have your Mercs serviced? Particularly any knowledge of good independent specialists? I took my previous CLA45 to Peter Lennox in Thomastown a few years ago and was happy with their service, but they are a bit too far from me now.
Not sure what is the experience with the MB dealerships here, but with Audi, I always felt more confident taking my cars to my independent Audi specialist after listening about some unpleasant dealings with official Audi workshops.
