Bunch of questions for you:
Can this be self installed?
Do any wires have to be cut?
How much?
Does a key have to remain in the vehicle?
Is this the same unit Mid City Engineering created?
Will one be coming out that works in the W203?
Thanks!

Any AMG Thats Around..
At this point in time 2 CAN wires have to be cut... Power and ground Connections have to be made.. and there is a plug in harness as well...
No key has to remain in vehicle....
I dont know what Mid-City has made, but this does not come from them...
Im not sure about the 203 at this time.... These are the cars that is has been tested on and validated as working problem free....
Pricing is around $1000......

thats not our remote starter... ours is 100% plug-and-play and called the Smartkey Starter.
Personally, I dont think that its a very good idea under any circumstances to cut into vehicle wiring, much less the vehicle network at the key cylinder but thats just my opinion. The MB dealership on the other hand will just freak out if they see spliced wiring and then start with voided warranty stuff.

As long as wires don't have to be cut it doesn't sound bad, i guess. But why wasn't it developed that way to begin with? Rob13572468, yours is plug and play? Do you have one available for the W204?
