DIY Throttle Calibration?
Is there a DIY throttle reset? I heard it's been possible in other MB's, but can't find any info (searched already) for the W203's.

It's been posted before in other forums, but thought I'd add this to our DIY stickies.
1. Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.
2. Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
3. Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
4. Wait at least two minutes for ECU to reset.

quick down? quick down-shift?
I'm confused now
1. Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.
2. Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
3. Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
4. Wait at least two minutes for ECU to reset.
I thought these were the only steps, but we also have to press the quick down shift and quick down?
Thanks!~~ ^^

Nothing to be confused about, just push down the accelerator as far down as you can.

I just performed the throttle reset and WOW!, did it ever wake up this car and so simple too. I wonder if the adaptive feature will require a reset periodically. Thanks for tip!

ECU Reset... Has anyone tried this procedure?
For those with automatic trannies, check out this thread on resetting the adaptive transmission and throttle settings...
https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/148019-holy-crap-you-guys-sneaky-ecu-reset-works.html
I'm wondering if anyone has tried this on their W203? It should also work on our rides...
1. Turn the ignition key to the on (not start) position.
2. Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds.
3. Turn the key to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
4. Wait at least two minutes for ECU to reset.
