Well, I work/live in Riverside, but I travel all over
in california. I used to go to UC berkeley and have friends up there still, so I would probably go up there eventually.
I go out to LA every now and then too, since it's not too far from my place and San Diego isn't too far either...so.....
Basically, I'm not in a big hurry and just want some place that will do a good job for a good price. =)

Sorry, forgot to welcome you, so congrats on getting your car and welcome to the boards.
As for the tint shop that I used to go to (I refuse to tint my car because of the nice blue tint that's on there, stock), I've taken people to him for the past 12 years and he's gotten business from a bunch of my friends and family for the past 16 years.
His prices are average, but the job he does is excellent!
In fact, he did my homeboy's 5 series BMW farely recently. He also did his 3 series before that and his X3. Most of his customers drive luxury cars, but he also has JDM cars go to him as well.

You want to go to a place that understands MBs and knows that they have to put felt or moleskin inside the door to keep the tint from getting scratched. A place that does work for an MB dealer for a long time is were you want to go. I went to this place in "The O.C." and they did an outstanding job, they do Caliber Motor's cars -

Vision Window Tinting is closer to you i guess if you coming from Riverside. Take the 91 west and exit Tustin and make a right. It on the right hand side right off the fwy.
maybe i'll see you drive around near UCR. I still got one more quarter to finish...sigh

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! =) Now, what kind of tint do you recommend? My car is black with black interior.
My friend recommended getting a ceramic film called huber optik. What type of tint did you guys get on your cars? Sorry for all the questions, I'm somewhat naieve to all of this stuff. =)

usually you've got a few MB's & BMW's hanging out getting stuff done,
and it's cool to talk to everyone there.
I usually stop by even if I'm not getting anything done to my car about twice a month.

Frankw, I really like your tint. How much did it run you, if you don't mind me asking.
I was also wondering, like phatstyles if you ever still get pulled over for fix it tickets? I guess it doesn't really matter though, I'd probably still get it anyways. Hehehe.... :p

Ill probably end up going to tintzone.net. They have solar gard. I want to go with 18% tint all around with felt installed.
Damn your tint looks clean. I have the same one =) probably different brand. Im going to go with limo and probably get the tint you have in your front windows on my front windshield.
