Tinted Windows W203 Thread - All You want to know about window tinting a C Class
now i have 15% all around and i am happy with the darkness, but i also have light interior which lightens it up a little during the day.
my experience with 15% is actually pretty good. the only time i wish i'd have a little more percentage (lighter) is when im on an intersection where there are no street lights at all. if there is no light ... i almost see nothing. if theres a person there is no chance seeing him/her.
25% with dark interior probably is the best and safest way to go.

$300 is way too much for suntek though. Suntek is probably one of the cheapest tints on the market right now, you shouldn't pay any more than $150 to have suntek on all your windows..
IMO when you're looking for tint, go for huperoptik (if you can afford it), llumar, solargard or johnson - In that order.

When you get a chance you should really check out the Suntek website.
If my Mercedes Benz dealership is using this tint and the tint shop, its got to mean something.
What kind of tint do you have on your car?
The reason Suntek is so popular with tinters is that they've flooded the market - it's readily available and most importantly CHEAP. Suntek is a great tint especially at the price it sells for (far cheaper than anything else).
Honestly the most important thing is to look for a good tinter... a good tinter can work with just about any film and install it properly on a car.
The brand of tint that a tint shop carries is usually an indicator of their work -for example if you ask for llumar and they have it in stock, it probably means that they are used to tinting expensive cars (and charging more). On the other hand if you encounter a tint shop that carries only the most basic suntek (3-year warranty) chances are they work to a price (not good).
Personally, I have Solargard HP6 on the rear and HP38 on the front sides of my car.
