Just to let everyone know... That part #CMX1121 is also at Advance, but branded as Friction Master (made by Morse) for $50. They also have the Friction Master ceramic rear pads, part #CMX779 for $48. I will be installing them tomorrow morning. I got them a little cheaper because I get a student discount for a car club at the school...

Based on all the models those are claimed to fit that have different brake kits, I don't think they'll work.

jinjet, don't listen to blake, he's a little
your car has the sport package right with AMG bodykit and crossdrilled rotors? you need the second pads, the more expensive ones.
however, i don't recommend them. they squeak all the time even after i had the anti-squeal paste applied twice. their stopping power isn't as good as stock medal pads! only good thing is no brake dust now.

Based on that chart, it actually seems like DP31590C are the ones he'd want.

Yea, and 2002 - 2004 C230's didn't have big brakes. You proved my point though... the charts don't make sense!

You need the DP31590C for your 2005. The 2.5L are the 2006 C230, but they use the same 2 piston brake caliper.

C32 brake upgrade on the 4matic.

Good news is that the rotors and calipers mount up no problem, and the wheels clear the calipers. (even though tirerack told me they would not)
The only problem that I could see is when the brake line is hooked up to the caliper it would hit the drive shaft. And possibly when I turn the wheel it may hit.

Is it possible to make your own brake lines? I think that if I use a coupler on the caliper to redirect the line I should be okay.

I still have to do some testing, but it looks promising.

Oh, and damn these things are heavy. I hope my car has enough power to turn them

Yea, different part numbers. I think the only difference is the length. I am going to buy 1 of each to compare them.
