If you're running stock bulbs now, I highly recommend that you buy these. HUGE DIFFERENCE...

We don't know the wattage either, but if you look a little back on this thread, I've tested these for heat and they do not melt..I had mine in for well over a month and Kev has had his almost 3 maybe, so they do work...except one of mine went out, but its not like it went out quickly..

Well, I've had stock ones in for few weeks now....but when I did have them in, I checked out my lens after driving several hours one night, and there was no melting at all....on the post where I said that, i remember saying that they were slightly hot to the touch, but definitely no melting..

Melted insides...
I bought the ebay bulbs from that one buyer and I was extremely happy, for about a month. One bulb burned out and when I went to switch the lights back to stock bulbs, the actual plastic housing, not the removable lenses, had significant meltage and bubbling. I'm guessing from the heat Oh well, I am now on a mission to find 12v 5w festoon? (I think that's what they're called) bulbs.

The guy offers a lifetime warranty, I believe...I didnt take advantage of it the first time. I bought another pair, but if they go out again, I will ask for more bulbs...Kevblah has had his for a long time without going out...no melting on ours

it's been close to two months with my eBay bulbs as well... thankfully, no meltage and they haven't gone out... hopefully they won't for a while.
like I said, they're not bad, but they're not great as well...

ok so these aren't really LED's and they're the same concept as the eBay bulbs, but they're from a reputable bulb brand...
they just came out with these recently:

J, I really hope they get that resolved for you. Believe it or not, a lot of the tuners know more about the ECU's than a lot of MB Tech's at the dealership (so I'd actually feel more secure with the tuners messing with the ECU rather than the dealership).
As for the lights, when they come in, OF COURSE, I'll have update pics. Anything is better than my current off white that can people can hardly see the license plate with. I just hope it doesn't have all the drawbacks everybody else has experienced with other bulbs.

yeah phil, oddly enough, with the way MB is working on the ecu, i find it all funny. its like "as soon as you 'fix' the ECU, and get the car fixed, its going 10 mins down the road to Sonic to be reworked". heh, whatever. i just want the damn car. waited forever for my "ugly *** wheels" [as blake likes to call them, lmao], now that they are here, theres no car to put em on.
