W203/CL203 City Light Thread (LED, HID, bulbs) - All you want to know
The digrams and drawing above are incorrect, and are not for the Tera bulbs.

the LEDS are not standard leds. they are single polarized 12v LEDS, and they are F-ing brighter than 5 standard LEDS.(i have both)
Here are a few pics of the LED citys. Gonna take pics of how I attached the resistors once daylight hits again.
The load resistors/equalizers do get pretty hott. So I used a few pieces of wire and the elasticity of the wires FROM the resistors to basically hang them in the middle of nowhere. so it stays away from the plastics. and nothing melts. they look amazing in person. Stillkickin just saw them a few mins ago.

yes I bought the resistors from there. I bought the 25ohm 25w resistors. their instructions online suck. its like...two words.
so installtion wise, I took out the www.mbworld.org search function. and found an old post that doug had made.
I'm still gathering up information on either 6000k or 8000k piaa tera led fogs.
Still thinking what I can do to have it feed enough current.
I had these a few years back when I still had my standard 'frosty' lights, it does add nice little touch to the standard lights. The cameras color correction is making it look more blue than they really are. I didn't transfer them over to the new housings...it seemed a little too gimmicky with the BIX lighting.
BTW, you don't need resistors, just use a second set of 194 sockets. They can be scotch locked on the wires, and hidden away nicely. They are cheap, easy to install, and give off far less heat than the load equalizers.

I thought about a second set of 194 sockets, but the load equalizers were not really expensive anyways. after a 1/2 hr drive, the load equalizers seem to be "warm" but not really "burning hott" as said in the older threads.
the camera's color correction made this blue. its fairly purpley-white.
until I find a cheap set of 05 halogens or cheap cheap bix. the headlight part is pretty much done.

. now if only you had bix!
