Advans, looks very good. Take another pic from further away with all the lights on. I'm curious to see how they look from an "oncoming traffic" perspective. Either way, looks very nice and looks like they match your HID's well.

Hmmm...maybe I need to start my lighting projects and stop being so lazy...LOL.

oh crap, I didn't realize you lived in the city... not on 73rd, I live in BK and normally park Ralph and Foster. my car is only in the city when I drive to work and I garage it.

the pics would be nice... but hell maybe I'll drive over and see the lights in person

25 Watt resistors are an overkill here as the original bulb is rated at 5 Watts. Would be enough to get 30 Ohm / 10 Watt resistors in aluminum heat sink housing - more compact and draw less current than the 25 Ohm ones.

Can be ordered from Mouser Electronics, http://www.mouser.com. P/N 284-HS10-30F.

one of our members told me that their 5 watt resistors worked for about 2 months...then it started blinking again.

If it happened as the person described, then he must not have done it properly. Either the resistance was wrong (25 Ohms would get you 5.76Watts - need to use 30 or 35 Ohm), or the resistors were mounted in a tight space so they got overheated and the solder points melted. You have to mount these resistors to make sure the heat can dissipate freely.

Again, 30Ohm/10W resistors are all that is needed here.
