Color matched BIX and Avic-D3--- 56k Warning---

Replace the damaged igniter on one of my headlights last night and decided that I should paint them since I had the headlight apart anyways. I also included a few pics of the avic-d3, instrument cluster bezel, and pioneer steering wheel adapter.

looking good, though IMO chrome bi-xenon (original) looks more appeal and smarter. love that you hook up the D3 with the steering wheel control.

I got the adapter from Worldwide-Sounds on Ebay spain. It took about 10 days to get here, and it was real easy to install.

I love the AVIC D-3 now!!! Those pics have really made me want to spring for one now, I had no idea the interface was so attractive. I'm looking at a few on ebay, besides the actual unit Nick, what else do I need to make it work? Links would be great too if u have em.

the stuff thats optional, if i want it...should i get it done at the same time as the headunit, or is it just as easy to install afterwards?

I would do it all at the same time. There is no sense in having to remove the headuint 3 times.

yeah do it all at once.... i only did ipod when i did the initial install... and am really not looking forward to taking everything apart again to do bluetooth, rear camera, and to extend the AV input... pain in the ****

pretty much... but the bypass is different, and i think that some things that he does is a little sloppy imo. thats why i did a write up

Great job nick looking good! how do you like the head unit is it better than the factory Comand? and the navigation on it does it work Well on point?
