I actually have those wheels and I love them. You'll get lots of compliments on them. I have photos on here just look up mt. Clemens mini photo shoot or just look up my started threads if you can't find it by searching.

I'd love to get the black set just to hide some of that ridiculous brake dust. I've developed new back muscles just from cleaning the front wheels.

ALT/Miro Type 243 Wheels (Brabus Monoblock VI Replicas)
Does anyone have the ALT/Miro Type 243 Wheels on their ride? How are these replicas? Do y'all think they're good rims or ones that'll probably crack in months? Give me some opinions! I think I'ma get these in 18"s: 18x8.5 and 18x9.5
Tell me what y'all think of these replicas!

I've heard about the Hawk pads, but I can't find them for the sedan. If anyone knows of a good pad for the 4-door, I sure would love to know where I can get them. I used the d-dusters, those pie plate shaped things that push onto the backs of your rims, on my '96 C220 years ago, but I seem to remember that the brakes overheated once because of poor ventilation.
I know MB used the soft pads because of the disc wear, but I always seem to need to replace my front discs every 15M or so anyway.

https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...=wheel+thread- you might get better answers in that thread.
ride quality, to me, is a subjective thing. i absolutely hate the ride of a caddy or something of the sort. i like the stiff feel of a sports car. i have h&r springs, sways, koni shocks/struts, and 19" wheels- the ride is great for my tastes. i've been on a few long distance hauls and it's fine. it really doesn't ride too much more firm than stock. then again- i did the swap with 2k miles on the car- so the stock shocks were still new. it's not like i was switching to koni/h&r from a set of worn shocks/struts.
