Kind of looks like a bad knock of version of the C63 rims

Also check the website where you found the rims. It tells you what kind of knock offs (Replicas) they are.

When your searching look for the type of vehicle the replicas are off of.

if the wheels are audi-hubcentric, then it might be a little small, you'll have to open up the center bore. i believe from 57.1 to 66.6. not a big deal, it'll probably cost you 20-40 bucks per wheel.

go ahead and try it, it might start a trend...

NICE wheels...

I think it's one of these two:

Either new ASA GT1's, as shown from Tirerack:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/MiniW...d=true&sw=1280

It looks like a 4x4 on their site, but nothing some coilovers won't fix.

Or these from Hartmann here in Seattle:

http://www.hartmannwheels.com/1-425-.../wheels/Audi/1

Hartmann is a pretty solid outfit, and they can tell you if the wheels will be a direct bolt on. They do the design and sourcing for what they sell. Give them a call. I asked them about picking up an extra set of the stock-appearing 2005-2006 C230 wheels for my winter tires, and they said they're working with their foundry in the EU to make that happen. Seems like they're working hard to get it right.

I'd personally would stick with silver. Black wheels aren't my cup of tea, especially if you have a relatively stock car. To pull off the black wheels you'd have to "black-out" your car to really make them look right and not out of place.

Edit: Nice username btw.

had the same problem when i wanted to buy wheels...
check the pictures and wheels thread and you'll find nearly every wheel on every car....
personally silver on silver....
black or silver on black... depends if you want to black out your grill, tails...

about the one's you choose, its personal, i dont like mesh style.... if it must be one of those three, then its definitly the carlson 1/16 style... but i suggest you check the threads.. there is better looking wheels for mesh style, and for black wheels...

I vote silver wheels. Better yet. Brushed center with a polished lip
I agree with all previous post. in referrence to dblock2151 & HellsAngel. you have to do other mods to the car in order to make it look right. Black out your grill, dark tint, etc. I personally am not a fan of blacked out tail lights. Maybe Smoked is okay.
Rockafel1a also has a good point. It does loose the classines of MB. Then again if you have an AMG? A Sport Sedan, is classiness really required? Or you can also get away with Black Centers and a chrome or Polished Lip just like Silver230SS's ride.

If you end up going with you original decision and pick'n up a set of silver wheels and repainting them. At all cost avoid painting. Go with Powder coating. It's more durable. Will definitly last you longer..

All the non black links are just 19x8.5 only the black one is 19x8.5 & 19x9.5

I would go with the first one I really like how it looks but I woudlnt do 19x8.5 all around like it states I would do 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear.

i meant smoking the tails, im not a fan of blacking out either...

+1 on the paintjob
and avoid blackpodwer too, since you are looking into 700-1000$ wheels so is it really worth it to pay 300 (or more i dont know) to blackpowder ???

and classiness, it depends, any multispokes wheel will keep the clasiness, and any mesh style will make it look more sporty;... im more into multi spokes...
polished lip gives a nice touch...

black hides details so :
dont go under 18" since they give the impression to be smaller,
and the less details you have in the wheel, the better it will look in black...

Personally, I vote silver wheels (the Carlsson reps look great IMO). Regardless of the detail/lack of detail on a particular set of wheels, it's difficult to tell how nice or good-looking a set of black wheels are unless a person can get close to check them out.

Regardless of what you decide, consistency is key. Sporty can look good, classy can look good, but a hodge-podge mismatch almost always looks bad. Since you've already decided to paint the roof black, I would just go the whole nine yards with the sporty look.

I like the first choice you have posted above... IMO, black wheels only look good on a black car.

personally i think mercedes are more suppose to be elagant and stylish, so i would go with the silver. I think black rims on a silver car is more like racer with big spoiler type, like you see and expect on a lot of japanese cars.
