UHI Kit for Mescedes
Hi everyone! I would like to find out if I bought the UHI phone cradle from other countries, can I use it in my car which is bought in Australia? What is the current UHI list of Nokia phone available? I am planning to get it from Singapore or maybe in Europe. Please advice!

UHI Background noise
I have had my UHI for about 7-8 months now and i still love it. the past 2 weeks or so it has started to act up. When I put the phone in the cradle, the COMAND unit still says, Error: No phone connected. Sometimes I have to reseat in the cradle. Then about 6 times so far in the past week, I have a terrible background noise that I can't hear but the people on the other end can hear and complain about. They can barely hear me talk so I take the phone out of the cradle and the noise goes away. Does anyone have similar issues.
Steve/Dean, is there anything I can do to maybe trouble shoot.

Bluetooth Coming our way
As Ted already posted earlier, there will be Bluetooth kits released for 2001-2004 cars in OCT 05. These retrofit kits will be available from the dealership. No pricing yet. 2005 and newer MOST cars will have a Bluetooth plug in cradle available some time mid 06.

Voicemail indicator / standard HU
re my 2005 C230 SS and handsfree:
I am wondering if anyone with the standard audio headunit / MB handsfree has been able to get any indicator working for a new voicemail message. I have the v600 with the MB handsfree system and only get the SMS Received message along with the envelope icon -- I can't find any documentation from MB that explicitly indicates this isn't supposed to work. The manual provided is very poor.
I have read thoroughly through the forums and am just curious if anyone has gotten the envelope programmed for pending voicemails. It just seems odd that the v600 and the handsfree integration kit would not have any indicator for new voicemail. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Need help : No Phone
I have a Nokia 6310i and a cradle. Fitted them under the armrest of my C230K SS (with telephone prewired)
Anyway, once it is plugged in, the phone will switch on automatically.
I can see the battery is charging and there is a little car icon on the phone display.
But on the radio and instrument cluster, it says NO PHONE.
I searched the forum but no one seem to have an answer to the problem.
Help !
