Hey Folks,
I have a '98 W202 that Steve MBenzNL modified to fibre & digital and installed a Euro COMAND (the ML model I think) and Nokia 6310i phone kit (re-wired the stock analog phone's wiring harnass for the latter).
Any thoughts about whether this Argos Bluetooth Phone Kit will work for me? Anyone here already do it in a W202? (I know I'm in a W203 forum ). a 1998?
Thanx for your thoughts.

Thanks.

My understanding is you argos learns your phone the first time and then everytime you get in it automatically recognizes it and you can keep it in your pocket. Am I misinformed??? I'm also concerned about the noises. I wonder if the direct connect feature is interfering with argos?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I will find out about the noises because i brought my car to the dealer and they are checking it out now. ill let you know when i get it back. the direct connect feature is a little weird. i used it but you have to actually change the mode to telephone and you use the speakers in your car, but you still have to push the button on your phone for it to work. if you have any more questions let me know.

Since there is only one input into Nav/Head unit you will need a fiberoptic loop to daisy chain between your phone sys and nav/head unit, I transplanted the extra one (the one you don't use in Peleli's pics) into the dash, pulled out my cd changer and plugged the transplanted optical fiber into the back of it.
Took an extra half-hour but well worth it. Hope this helps someone.
Enjoy

I dont know if anyone has had the same issues as i have. i have had the argos for a while now and it seems like it has a signal issue. i make and receive calls and they say it is static to them, i can hear them fine and when i speak they cannot hear me for the most part because they say i am breaking up. could it be the microphone? i have a nextel blackberry 7100i phone. any ideas?
