2004 Civic Si. FWD for the Win!
I think that a couple of people have done this, and that their headlights operated normally while they were waiting on their bi installs. Might want to STF for some threads which might contain their results.

Yeah John,
no worries ! Steve had set my onboard computer to Xenon=Present a week before the Bi-X were installed. No problems at all.

05 Bi xenon healight question
Hey guys i tryed the search didnt come up with any ansers. I have a 05 C230 SS, And it has the hallogen headlights, Im looking to put the stock Bixenons on my car . But when i called my MB dealer they said the Bixenons arent Plug and play you have to get wiring harness's and ignitors ect ect, I was wondering on a 05 C230SS with stock hallogens are they plug and play for Bixenons?

You will also need a cooperative dealership to activate your lights through the StarDiag system (or you need to find a local garage with a Winstar system). Instructions on how to disasseble your front bumper and the headlights are available in this forum.

if you cant find a dealer in baltimore to do it and you dont mind traveling to nyc my pops can install them and activate them for u at his shop. he got star diagnose and he got people that know there way around a benz blindfolded. but yes its plug and play and you can get them at your local dealership or from steve. I believe my pops can get it for you brand new from the dealer for about 1050 if he pays cash because of his discount that he gets from the dealer, not exactly sure about the price i'll have to verify that with him. if you want i'll ask him about it if your interested.

Elchinocache, if you wouldnt mind, maybe you could ask your pops about the bix for me also. I live in detroit and nyc isnt that bad of a drive. Only if its ok with you and your pops.

hi, I am new to this forum and to MB, and I am getting a 05 c230 with normal lights. Where can I buy the bi xenon head lights to upgrade my ride? and how much they run? thanks helping and have a great holiday!

i finally get to call the dealer and ask my dads friend how much the lights would come out. The advisor that i spoke two over the summer told me 1050, but then when i talk to my dads friend he tells me 1000, and i'm like great. But then he tells me that its perside. THen i'm like dam. So sorry to get your hopes up guys but i was malinformed. so it will come out to 2000 for a set of bix. Once a gain, my bad.
