I agree with C300Sport….. Big parking lots until you really learn the car. Without a LSD it’s even worse!
As far as the drift police..... I don't care if you do it again or not.... Just not near me would be great….. Track events are pretty cheap and you can learn different techniques.

So, this is probably a totaled car. Okay, now I'm mildly concerned. What is it about that weld that breaks versus folds over? I'm going to have to assume that the way you hit (post, curb, etc.) is something Mercedes engineers simply ignored when they built the safety cage. I suspect the force vector you experienced is so unusual that the design just ignored it.
Or, alternatively, there is a manufacturing defect and the car should not have broken, but rather folded up. If this is true, you should not pay a dime to get it repaired (even if your driving skills need some fine tuning!).
OTOH, you walked away, the car didn't roll, and you live to pay the piper for the cost! Cool.
