2017 C300 Upgrade Base Model Speakers

Anyone that owns a W205 Benz (especially a base model) knows that the stock speakers are some of the worst in any car, especially the subs. I ended up replacing the subwoofer thinking that it would be the solution and for the most part it is but there are certain songs that just don't have that punch. I think that the lack of punch comes from a lack of 6.5 inch mid speakers which leads me to my question. Is it at all possible to add 6.5 in speakers to my car? It did not come with those speakers as stock and there is not slot to put them in the doors. My options could possibly be:

1. Cut holes in the door or rear deck
2. Put those speakers in their own boxes under the seats and wire them up (kinda like a subwoofer)
3. Replace the subs in the footwells with mids and configure the wiring (is this even possible???)

If anyone out there knows of a way please let me know. These options are just my ideas but I have no clue how feasible or expensive they are.

Not sure if these posts I found for you will help but I am posting them here anyways in case it does:

Here is a thread to start with (the thread is 20 pages long and began back in 2016, some links are no longer valid and some information might not be applicable (https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...ml#post8115146), try to read the more recent posts and go from there https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ml#post7962453

Here is a thread talking about how to add a subwoofer (Burmester system)
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...er-system.html

Here is an aftermarket setup:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...lass-w205.html

and another aftermarket setup (it is on a facelift vehicle though):
https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...stem-done.html

yet another aftermarket setup (has Burmester to begin with):
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...-jl-audio.html

YAAS (yet another aftermarket setup): https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...pic-heavy.html

Here is an interesting thread about Burmester:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ml#post6766672

More info (comparison) on both the FrontBass and Burmester setup:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...subwoofer.html

The upgrade applies to the facelift and specifically for the W205's audio system which might not work on yours:
