I'm putting my extra TCU with my TCU tune back in on Monday. cant wait to feel what that feels like. I had bad results from my past TCU due to the shifting problems. Now that these valves have fixed the problems. The TCU tune is going back in.

Nice. Mine’s due for another ATF replenishment soon.
Not too different from the TransGo reprogramming tweaks I’ve installed on my GM rides since the 70s.
MBH site purchase link, please.

The part will come with part number 240 277 00 98 stamped on it. If we can find out when either one of these part numbers came into service it will tell the tail as to what cars will benefit from these. I know for sure my 2005 is benefiting very well from this mod. Splinter if you have a way of tracking this info down that would be great.

been searching through my SRT6 Service Manual for Transmission Solenoids and was unable to find a part number or find out if the C32 has the brown or blue tops.
I've also been going through all the parts at parts.com and havent found these on the website.
Anyone know where to check if the C32's are brown or blue tops?

You have brown tops. If my 2005 C55 has brown tops stock than the C32 does too.Originally Posted by jturkel

lol if they do, i might change my tranny fluid (can't recall the last time it's been changed) and throw the tops on. not sure if i would need a tcu tune though.Originally Posted by hooleyboy

ok guys I am a little confuzed.. would the part # 240 270 00 89 fit the c32 or thats just for the c55/e55 trannys?
If they would fit Can I buy the set from MJ50 and just add them to my body?
Thanks

the C32 has the 722.6 trans and I'm just about 99% sure you have the brown top valves in your car. So.. yes these valves will fit.

alright mike. i think i'll do it.....but i cant afford it yet....i'll have to wait a couple months to recoupe some cash as i'm going to be broke (on car money) after my tstat (which i just got), the dashdyno gauge, splitting my reservoir and messin with my coolant mixture, retuning my ecu, and getting the NW oil catch can. .....and yah, i'll probably change my tranny fluid while im at it. i'm due for a bunch of fluid changes soon i think (cant recall last time tranny fluid, diff, and others were changed. oil coming up in 1100). maybe we'll see if dynocomp can hook me up with a tcu tune too if the blue tops don't change anything without a tcu tune.Originally Posted by hooleyboy

This might be a good mod to try on my Aero. I just got a NW dual CAI and have to pull the cooling line anyway. Hmmmmmmmmm..........
