My whole passenger side of my car got keyed! Rear quarter to front fender. I hate knowing there is someone out there that I should punch in the face, but I don't know who.

just goes to show there are definitely some haterz out there.
Might be one of those collared up, bluetooth wearing M3 drivers. they can be a pesky if not a jealous rodent.

hooley, where did this happen? lets scout out the area and take 'em down this weekend.
also maybe time to upgrade the alarm system? like one of those viper systems that monitors the entire car and where it is being touched and it gives you feedback on a little monitor/keychain thing. i had a buddy who had a car alarm like that on his 500whp eclipse. it was like a 400 dollar system at least.

Its bad, Its one big, long key markdown the whole side of the car. You can feel it with your finger. I happen to know my way around a buffer and there is no way its coming out from that. I'm guessing the whole passenger side of the car has to be painted.
I just got finished with my insurance claim and have an adjuster coming out to look at it on Thursday. What sucks is I was planning on going to defend my C55 race title in Sacramento on the 4th, looks like my car will be in the body shop in AZ rather than racing in Cali.
I will go snap a pic for you guys of one area with my phone.

to make you feel better, one of my college friend who had a 03 CLK320 that got keyed on EVERY single panel of the car. someone hated him! lol

I think it will buff out to where you can barely even see it. I would avoid a repaint because A) it lowers the value of the car and B) if you do it through insurance, it will show up on carfax as an accident repair

Damn that sucks. I hate people who do this. They can easily vandalize a defenseless car, but have no courage to show their face. Hopefully the C55 will be back to normal soon.
You probably do need a repaint of the doors and panels though. Fortunately, your car is black and paint matching shouldn't be an issue.

I'd take it to the races scratch and all, screw it.
Sucks it happened and it sucks the car is black. My parking garage has been hit every weekend this summer including the windows of my DD ford focus being smashed out. Found 3 lugs missing from my benz earlier this year when someone tried stealing my wheels. Buy a pitty and let him sleep in your backseat at night like I do...
...its like being taxed by those who simply suck at life and don't match up.
