picture here.

You installed the 55k engine in the crossfire srt6, but what i am doing is installing the 55 kompressor on the V6, plus converting the v6 3.2L to 3.7L and lowering compression ratio to 8.5 to make room for the 180-190mm crank pulley, i am starting by 178mm pulley as you can see from my previous picture (engine in the car).

yes sir. but the precise way to check the CR is the engine on the car with intake and TB.

The V8 will not fit on the C32, you have to swap the front of the car with C55 one or W209. it's an expensive project, to buy the 55k engine/transmission/diff with all ECU's plus convert the front of the car.
i went the easiest/cheapest way for me, i didn't touch any electrical component.

video when checking compression ratio:
To clarify, you are checking cranking pressure (psi, atm, bar, etc) , not (static) compression ratio (y:x)

And there is a dynamic (or effective) compression ratio, which takes into account the effect of the closing of the intake valve on mechanical (static) compression ratio.

+1, but i don't want to enter in the cam degrees and valve closing calculations, i have lowered the static CR, then i'll compare cranking CR with another car wich have same degree cam like E55K with the same gauge.

Nothing wrong, he thought it was at first, cause you need to make a lot of cranking to make oil go into heads.

Looking good, but that picture confuses me. What about the large hole above the throttle body hole, do just cover it up?

This is the 55 SC inlet where the other hole is for bypass tb, today i cut/weld it, no bypass tb in my built.

That's going to look awesome. Are you going to use the E55k intake or do you have something better? Do you think the transmission or rear end will have any issues with the added hp?

there is no place in the rear (firewall) to put the y pipe so no 55 intake and also to make room for top mount ic, maybe i'll put a foam filter directly on the tb, but i am concerned about heat in the engine bay, i'll see.
i don't think the c32 transmission will handle the new hp/tq, i have found an used 55k transmission at about 1200$, i will buy it.

Be careful with the axles and driveshaft, hopefully they can with stand the added hp. I think PTE's supercharged clk55 twisted an axle and I remember the reading about the E55 converted to a 65 twisted the driveshaft, but he added a huge amount of torque to the car, so you might be ok there. If only we could drop in the complete rear end of an E55.

you'r right, but first i wanna start the engine and check everything ok then i'll see. the drag radials and sticky track play a big role on those issues.

+1 to both. I snapped my axle at the track using drag radials at 14 PSI. And my car (although fast) is not nearly the beast as what Robert is building. Thanks to dodger for landing me his "tow truck".
There is a promising axle related thread in the 211 AMG section.
