I have some rims/tires tires you can use when we hit the track Don't worry guys, this isn't one of those builds that takes years to finish and never see any track numbers.

This car is my pick for quickest MB once it's done

Quote: Correct it is Eurocharged. Checked on the dc/va tune thread. Have we met?

BB.... Don't expect anything over 155mph
Its possible, but we have probably worked with some of the same people over the years. Karl or Yves ring any bells?

I've been trying to get back to MIR for some of the events but I usually have a conflict. Would love to see that 202 run.

Quote: The thread is like sifting through my junk mail folder looking for something good. I was poking fun with the 155mph comment, Prob say 120mph ballpark is realistic based on some 55K 211's???
Good reference. I had an idea you were but a dream I can try hard enough to achieve.

Quote: Would like to apologize for the mess in this thread since I was a part of it. Was just trying to provide some facts for these lads, not my fault they cant keep a civilized conversation

Anyways.....cant wait for some drag times and vids of this baby
No problem. Were good. I can see the light and it sure is bright.

"Done" is such a finalizing word. Don't like it. Now that you mention the time it is almost the aniversary of the date this madness started.

I showed up to get her tuned but she isnt having it. Tony managed to make initial contact with my ECU but it took about 30 mins. By the end of the day there was no time left for a second go so he put in the overtime and a different location (Excessive Motorsports) Sad to inform but we were not able to make anything happen. The effort put forth to make something happen was extraordinary and blew me away. Thank you Tony/Eurocharged

SIDE NOTE: After conversing with the owner and the rest of the guys, the type of dyno used is of no concern to me now. It is just a tool to aid in tuning not the final say on how fast a car is. If you can hook that is what matters. Dyno charts are nothing Time slips are everything......I had to say that even though it sounds corny

This will require time and a visit to Eurocharged in about a month and a half. So as I see it that gives me time to buy more stuff and tidy up a few things. Here is a pick and a short pull video. It is the only one I got. Update when something happens.

And trap speeds. If the trap speed goes up, you know the mods are working.

wow, just wow.

still needs to tuned right?

i have a 202 with a c240, v6 engine in, and was wondering which swap would be more feasible between c32, c55, and e55k for me.

any help regarding this? i basically need to know about the harness and plug and play capabilites. also, would my tiptronic auto be good enough?

Good and the Bad
A few things happened up till now.
First the good....I purchased a set of Kleemann headers and installed them

Followed up by a full custom stainless steel exhaust

Then installed my rear Ice reservoir with a meziere pump. Instead of running the lines outside I opted to run it inside the car under the carpet. There are chanels that run the length of the car that allow for it. More labor intensive but I think it gives it that professional touch. Also instead of deleting the spare tire (daily driven 50 miles) I fabricated brackets that raised it above the carpet and allowed for removal of the spare.

With all that the sound is great and the raspiness of the headers is wicked coupled with the 3 inch exhaust. Here is the weird part. The car now under wide open throttle runs rich. Not stupid rich but Tuned Rich For the past week I have been driving her and rips down the street. Traction is an issue but AFR is 100% spot on.

Now here is the bad part. I had just finished helping a friend out who is having major car troubles and when I was merging onto I270 I floored it and when the car bounced off the limiter and changed gears it hit so hard I swore I broke something but she kept going. As I got closer to home I was minding my own business when a Black 645 rolled by kind of quick so I went ahead and corrected his sense of speed with mine. As I was pulling off I noticed my car was louder than before. Suspected an exhaust leak and said i would look at it tomorrow. Grabed something to eat and made it home. Today I was heading out and just before I got too far the diff came apart internally. When I jacked the car in the air (both rear tires off the ground) and put in gear the noise is deffinately is comming from the differential I guess i found a weak link in my chain

I was just about to order my S/C pulley monday.

Right. That modified factory LSD is more than adequate for a N/A 55. Apparently not enough for a kompressor. I had a feeling it was not going to last but I didn't think it was going to go this soon. Locating and ordering parts. If anyone has a spare w210 E430 diff. they are trying to unload shoot me a PM.

My car is up and running but will be making a trip to the body shop. I made a diff from a Clk55 (209)(208) It is currently an open diff due in part that I wasn't sure a 3.06 would work with a ETC programed for 3.07. Luckily it works and only side effect is a slight delay of shift. Just so if anyone who asks my ETC is not able to be programed.

How did you get the CLK55 diff to fit or were you some how able to use the internals and fit them into a diff with the same size housing as the C43?

The C43 diff is a joke. The one I constructed from a 190e is a good upgrade for any 43 owner and multiple other cars with mild upgrades. The Clk55 diff is the most bullet proof setup to have in my opinion especially when the quaife goes in. The parts are not interchangeable.
For those familiar with my LSD write up I might update that one and insert a link.
