Mike,
I think it boils down to this: You talk a lot of ****. We all do. But when you defame something I'm proud to have been part of the creation of to promote your own product and state certain opinions as absolutes, that gets to me as a person and as a fabricator, and I retaliated by poking holes in your sales pitch.

With a buzz?
(yes, that was my attempt at humor)
If it wasn't clear that it was an apology, allow me to make it clear now: It wasn't.
...
Just kidding, of course it was. While I believe my questions were legitimate, the motives behind them weren't completely clean and, as a general rule, I really try not to be that guy.

I'm glad you said this it sounds somewhat like an apology. I mean between the 2 threads there is tooooo much to read but I will say he didn't trash your product C63 Guy... he only said "it will be the most researched" with out getting into it too far you and Dads hopped on him in his teaser thread with some smart*** comments. So I mean you can see how people saw the replies in this thread as blatant bashing and thread jacking...

I have nothing but respect for what you do and your accomplishments . Also the great products EVOsport puts out. I think Brad and I may have just had some sort of a misunderstanding, I feel this is nothing two people cant work out in a civil way.

There's always a bunch of posturing from both manufacturers and the consumers of their parts when something new comes out that threatens our, uhm... superiority. We spend a lot of money on go fast parts to go faster than the next guy. That's the whole point. And we don't want anyone new coming along and leveling the playing field, in any way. So you roll in with some chest thumping and some big swinging dick numbers, and of course things are gonna get a little unhinged. It's unavoidable.
At this point, it seems like maybe the initial uproar is over, and now it's time for you to get some parts out there and have us eat our words. Don't make us wait too long to start attacking you again!
(Too soon?)

Thanks! Unfortunately what I mostly do now is sit at a desk photoshopping together headshots of vapid people for HBO promotional materials. So there's that.

I welcome another company into the 63 fray. We need a California or Az 63 to match the RennTech and MHP cars performances on the track.
It is great to see the N/A beast hit 125mph and run low 11's.
The discussion is important but the performance and durability of the product will be all the marketing MBH will need. (if successful).

OK ...
I'm sorry for my questions but, I have to ask them...
1) What is the final price with all the mounting accessories (lugs etc)?
2) What are the estimated gains? 50whp right?
3) Renntech tune 2 pairs with your product and if there are any CEL issues, Renntech will be more then happy to help us (Renntech 2 users)?
4) Do you ship worldwide?
Once again I'm sorry for the questions.
TIA

So, the cats would be integrated into the header?
The length of the header would be the same either way? correct?
And a cut at the secondary cats would be necessary with either
setup?
Sorry for all the questions, I just want to know all the details so
I can discuss this with my exhaust guy.
I'm definately interested, they look like a well made product.

I'm glad to see this thread taking a turn for the better.
hooleyboy/MBH, I have a question about headers, specifically the header primaries. Not comparing your C63 headers to any other brand's C63 offering - but instead comparing MBH C63 headers with MBH E55, CLS55 headers. I would assume that you're using the same CAD optimization software for both designs. The thing I don't understand, or might be thinking about incorrectly: wouldn't a supercharged 5.4L V8 (i.e. E55, CLS55, etc.) making 15+ psi of boost, ingest and expel more air per cylinder than an N/A 6.2L V8? If so, why is it optimal to have 1 3/4" primaries for the M113 Kompressor cars, but 2" primaries for the M156 cars?
If that's proprietary info, I understand if you'd prefer to keep it close-to-the-vest instead - just a curiosity on my part, and to clarify, I am not an expert on header/exhaust design, nor did I sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

The cats would not be intergraded into the header. As cars get older so do cats. So it would be a bolt in cat that can be replaced if for some reason the cat went bad. I have seen headers that have the cats are welded right to the header. IMO thats a design flaw. So this would be a bolt in cat.
Makes complete sense.
Headers look awesome.

for us the customer.
Maybe some of these other vendors need to re-think their pricing
structure to stay competitive.
Obviously, from the pictures, MBH is capable of making a quality header
and at a much lower price than the competition. It also appears they
have the dyno numbers to prove their product is more than just pretty.

A big thank you to our friends at Eurocharged. They were able to put our horsepower claims to the test on a set of our headers. Just an independent test showing our power gains are right in line with what we claim.
Again thank you Eurocharged, for the un-biased test. Class act guys over at EC.
