Ok I just have the OE-tuning. Everything is stock-no airbox mod, stock filters, charcoals intact. The 432 max hp was done with a long cool down. But still operating temps.

Also the AF ratio was in the 12.8 all the way to redline. It is running a little rich which is good.

Hmm... I read a ton of posts with Dyno results for different ECU tunes, but the engine heat issue was brought up only in those with the OE tune. Is it just a coincidence or the OE tune does heat up the engine?

Why?

I've been running without charcoals for almost 5,000 miles.
The only problem I've ever had was a stuck purge valve
and the MB tech. said it was not related in any way.

Actually, the car is running really strong.

Your CEL came one becaause you probably didn't close the airbox covers properly. I took off my charcoals 3,000 miles ago and no CEL.

No charcoals for me for 2K miles. No CEL. Also putting down much more torque than you and more HP.

Now Dyno it with the charcoals removed and K&N's and the air box mod done if you wanted to prove a point. Without that other test you proved nothing.

Also a weak chart. Show me the chart showing the correction. What correction is that showing? The 2010 is putting down more HP and torque though. This proves it.

Nice numbers though.

Taking out the charcoals don't do s*** for the car except to help it breathe better. That's why i took mine out.

Didnt you have ice packs? Without them you got 425whp right?

Also my friends E63 with same tuning got similar #s. But he has airbox mod,K&N filters, charcoals delete. Same shop and temps.

We should touch the charcoals because theres no point in them being there. if the ROW doesn't need them, we shouldn't either

btw ice packs in between runs is as natural as nitrous

Cooled between runs with ice. First run was after 25 mile drive in 70 degree weather 100% humidity with very little cool down in the wrong gear. 5th and final run was full cooldown (using ice) in 5th gear putting down 447whp and 408 torque SAE corrected. Only 900 miles also.

What correction are you showing us? How about a better chart.

Your torque curve looks nice, but your HP curve is spikey.. sup with that? What gear were you in?

It was done in 4th gear. You should come to Atco track rental Nov 22 to really compare. BTW 447whp seems high

Again..... What correction are you showing us? Put up a better chart since I know you are trying to prove a point.

I thought MIR was the 22nd... If its ATCO I think I might be able to make it. Just gotta drop 100 lb's before then for a fair race.

Nice numbers though. Go OE!

Well I did prove a point bro. When comparing my #s to my friends E63 with same tune, same shop, same temps=similar #s. BUT his E63 has airbox mod,K&N,charcoal delete! BTW Atco is this month on the 22nd.

What a dumb statement.

Very common at the track to use ice between runs to cool down a car doing runs in quick succession..
