OE Tuning just tuned one last week
its OBD2 and takes couple of minutes to flash it and also same for DCT flash. (check the youtube channel)Regarding new C V8 4.0L TT engine, its 485hp and can be tuned to 580hp
im not sure about the tranny but i recall it may be DCT
i hope its a bads$$ car like the current C in looks

Mercedes-Benz will allegedly drop the twin-turbo V8 5.5-liter after the current-gen S63 AMG.
The M157 is a Euro 6-compliant twin-turbo V8 5.5-liter gasoline engineoutputting 585 bhp (436 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) in the 2014 S63 AMG. According to AMG chief Tobias Moers, the mill cannot receive a power hike without a negative impact on its reliability.
He refused to mention if other S-Class models will receive this engine but it is believed the AMG versions of the forthcoming coupe and convertible will also get it, along with updated versions of cars which already have this engine, like the CLS 63 AMG and E63 AMG.
Chances are we won't see it in the next-gen E-Class (due in 2016) or other brand new models outside the S-Class family. The all-new C-Class will get an AMG version powered by what is believed to be a V8 4.0-liter developed by bonding two 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engines from the A45 AMG. The same power unit is expected to reside under the hood of the 911 competitor known internally as the C190 which will probably receive the SLC moniker.
CarSales believes big AMG models will feature a hybridized version of the aforementioned V8 4.0-liter engine based on Moers' statement according to which hybrid and electric power are part of AMG's future.

Be careful though, it only achieves that power when the batteries are fully charged to drive the electric motors in Hot Lap mode, which according to their documents will only last ~16 miles. It's charged by plugging the car in or siphoning power from the gas engine. If the batteries are dead it only puts out a more meager ~580 hp and 370 tq. If it's siphoning power from the v8 to charge the batteries to power the electric motors you won't have full power either, which is in every mode except Hot Lap. It's a shell game. I got invited to join their 918 VIP program and they sent me this big book detailing how it all works.

Did you guys noticed that on some of the latest spy pics that the rotors are also higher up in front and a bit lower in the back?
wonder if they will move it to the front like the CLA and SLS.. the test mule calipers are ginormous.

That would be an incorrect assumption, when all you have to do is look at the 2014 E63 and CLS63 which went 4MATIC, without the hefty price increase.

You might be right! I think for a version that is supposed to be released in less than a year, we don't have a lot of infos so far... We don't even know for sure which engine and if AWD will be available for sure... Hopefully the price will stay similar to what it is.

What you talkin' 'bout Willis? The engine/drivetrain layout has been confirmed by Mercedes already. They just haven't given hp/trq figures yet.

The spy shots of the C AMG have the HUGE flat disk behind the caliper like the E63 and S63 4matic cars. It pretty much a foregone conclusion that 4matic will be there for the C AMG.

Oh yeah, where's the official and confirmed infos about the engine/drivetrain? I would add, an article was stating "There will be no AWD version" (from a MB official) and then, a few weeks later, another MB spokesperson say "We plan on an AWD model" so really waiting to see some official infos on engine/drivetrain...
Throw this in google and feast away. "official 205 C63 AMG"
Plus there are numerous threads here with links to support the 4.0TT and AWD layout.

Why would they make the next generation C63 with less hp than the previous model? 
I don't think so. I heard 493 hp w/AWD. Most articles support this saying upwards of 500 hp.

Might not be "so official" if I read the posts after you, two states that it will not be 4-Matic... I still think it's unofficial if it will have AWD or not (for the engine, at first there were talk about the 5.5TT but now it looks like it will really be the 4.0TT

Non 4MATIC would be awesome and a lot more fun to drive. But it seems like 4MATIC will definitely be in every 4 door. Just look at all the updates that have happened....
When it comes to drivetrain, I don't really think AMG gives a crap about BMW, because you can see that AMG still prefers more displacement, augmented by a more efficient tranny and boost.
