Paul Walker died today in Socal filming Fast Seven. Apparently lost control of his Porsche GT3 and hit a tree and exploded. May his soul rest in peace. Very sad day.
He was actually a passenger in a Carrera GT coming from a car show at his car shop, when the driver lost control his a telephone pole and the car caught fire. Real sad to see such a great ambassador for car culture leave us. RIP Paul Walker
Local news reported he was the passenger in the Porsche. They were going to a charity event when the crash happened...Paul and the driver were killed.
Report I read said same car show in Santa Clarita, Ca. Then fund raiser for Philippines Typhoon victims. Paul was driving latest Porsche GT, he'd been running it hard etc after loosing control on street he collided w/pole or tree, then the car exploded into flames. No movie set etc poor guy most likely burned alive.... No one deserves this..
Edit: Yes you're correct, Paul wasn't driving & from pix def looks like Carrera GT, it was actually his friends car, sh@* that even sucks more!! Hit light pole & tree.. Damn

Very sad indeed. Makes me think about all the times I have screwed around on the street and how things can go wrong in an instant. I am sure most of us have screwed around in our vehicles on the street or with passangers in our cars on more than one occasion. I am not on a soap box or saying I will never break a posted speed limit ever again but these images are an eye opener.
