I spoke with Shehryar about it at xf. He said it’s doable but aluminum cost is high and the bolts still need to be sourced. The eBay brackets are nice for $300 USD. A kit milled out of aluminum and bolts will be around 450-500 usd to make it worth while for him.

hardly makes sense, since theirs already options that are more cost effective.

So you gonna shoot me some of those fancy cam plates? I’m getting xf to do the head bolts and adjusters soon. Lol.

hahaha maybe! Let’s get the weights on these epytec’s 😉. Bolts for them are M14, the stockers are really high grade bolts and should not stretch

MB doesn’t sell brackets separately you’d need to buy the whole caliper assembly.

However I’m no longer very comfortable with the material quality, proprietary hat/ring design, or the customer support. If I hadn’t just put on new RB front rings, I’d be building up a different setup from scratch. Which I will eventually do anyway, maybe sooner rather than later...

I used BoltDepot.com for those YFS caliper bolts. Have been happy with all the hardware bought there.
The brembo gt front kit with 380mm rotors printable template does not fit in my 507 wheel, it makes contact with the barrel. A BBK with new calipers and rotors + new wheels would be too expensive.
I read that the RB brackets with their rotor kit don't fit 507 wheels per MBNRG.
does anyone know if Solo Motorsports kit with brackets fits 507 wheels? I talked to them and they can't verify that it will fit 507 wheels.

Thx for the help

Also it looks like BLKROKT used RB caliper brackets where he spec'd out "YFS Grade 12.9 70mm bolts with 2mm stainless washers from BelMetric".
will these bolts work with other brackets MBNRG posted for 507 wheels? It seems the brackets must be different since one works with 507 wheels and one doesn't.

Thx

I had the first set designed and fabricated by exceptional AMG Master Tech Matthew Stockwell of Leistung Autohaus and his fabricator - i believe he was an aerospace or materials engineer, and paid significantly more than this EBay price.
I had these custom Brackets fabricated because my RacingBrake bracket would make the front caliper rub on OEM 19" 507 wheels (but were perfect and without rubs on OEM 19" Turbine style wheels). I attribute this to a taper in the 507 wheel. The new, custom Brackets also optimized the brake pad/rotor contact area, which was now perfectly centered/symmetric, whereas with the RB Bracket, it was off by a 1-2 millimeters.

Have been running these same Brackets offered above on EBay for over 1yr without issue, with the OEM Non-BS Front Calipers, RB Rotors, and 507 Wheels.

You will need custom, longer bolts with which to secure Front calipers onto new Bracket. The OEM Brembo bolts will not work.

Disclosure: this is not my EBay listing. It is offered by a gentleman who initially invested in a run of these for our community.
MBNRG,
can you verify bolts you used?

Thx

I've been curious of this too. Is that the only difference? The Black has a different caliper bracket?

only difference is bracket. with many items available from the dealer, some individual parts are not able to be purchased separately. for example intake manifold throttle body mounting plate or gasket.

for those of you still on the fence with such upgrade, i have a batch of these arriving any day now from production. the emphasis was strength while focusing on minimal weight. more to report once i receive them.

Unfortunately the bracket comes attached with "single use" bolts to the caliper from Brembo so it's sold as a unit and that's all the dealer has access to.

was a long time coming, but finally got them on. They fill up the 20 inch barrels quite nice. Running Brembo OE replacement pads / stainless lines and Motul RBF. Really like the initial bite on the 390’s.

Looks really good, I’m not a huge fan of 20+ inch rims but you car looks solid. Like the rim design as well suits the car 👌

thanks, 20’s aren’t my go-to either for the w204. However with the wide body 19’s looked a bit small with the step lipped design on S101. I had done 20’s with my BBS LM’s years ago as well and went back to 19’s after.

the S101’s however are the most aggressive looking setup I’ve had on the car.

The space saver spare wheel will not work with the fronts now, if you ever have a puncture. Just so you know. Black Series space savers are different to accomodate the 390mm disc.

Solo Motorsports could not verify that their brackets worked with 507 wheels (so I bought the ebay brackets MBNRG used),
I have the 390mm rotors and ebay brackets here already.
Waiting for new pads to arrive

Brembo 2-piece floating front rotors for 2021 C63s coupe?

Can anyone confirm that the Brembo 2-piece floating front rotors will direct-fit replace the stock (non-carbon ceramic) front rotors for 2020/2021 C63S coupe? If not, are there any additional parts that need to be ordered to make the fitment work? See attached pic for the part I'm referring to.

they are not and this is the wrong forum bud. the W205 uses completely different dimensions and mounting than the W204 from what i'm told. nobody makes a 390mm adapter for the W205 to my knowledge but i could be wrong.

So could i get a little help with the e-brake setup on the rear rotors?
I am planning to use girodisc rotors front and rear (390/360mm). Unlike the RB rear rotor kit, the girodisc 360mm rear rotors are made for the Black series without the rotor hat adapted for the regular 165mm c63 e-brake. The rear calipers I will be using are the E-class 212 calipers that are shared with the c63 black series.
so the e-class 212 rear e-brake shoe kit (which are 180mm like the c63 black series) will work with the girodisc 360mm rear rotor made for the black series. The part number is A0054203620.
So I guess my question is, will the black series calipers and e-brake shoe kit be everything I need to get my e-brake to work with the 360mm rotors made for black series? Or are there any other brackets, parts , etc that I need for the e-brake?

the shoe kit is $50-80 depending on vendor so if it will work with regular c63 e-brake cable, etc it should make for a neat clean setup.

Thank you for any help

Would someone with WIS be able to post the parts diagram of black series e-brake and regular c63 e-brake setups on the rear rotor?

Thanks for any help

390

I think your car came with 390mm from factory. Fcp euro actually made a video on it.

Has anyone thought about using 15mm threaded steel spacers? The 390mm rotors are pushed out 15mm each side. So the caliper will need to be pushed out 15mm. Using a 15mm threaded spacer between the stock caliper and bracket will extend it. You’ll also need 15mm longer cap bolts
