Just FYI - the ebay link badge was a dud, it didn't have the black plastic spring system to clip the badge onto the bonnet. I'm going to send it back.

I called the dealership and ordered it the right way. They have one in Singapore and it's on its way to me so I'll get a few pics when its on the car.

 

If you have an old one they usually just pull off the clip. Thats how I did mine when I got a new one.

 

Not what the dealer told me, it should come together as one.

I did try to pull it off but its stuck

All good, just got to wait will the new one comes in.

Also, hoping the ebay seller will take the item back or else they are getting a bad review lol

 

have you had your front widows tinted Boycie999 if so what % it a uk car isn't it?

everywhere I tried was backordered.

 

My dealer said they're backordered from Europe because they're getting diverted to the "Night Edition" cars (not night package). Best off just backordering from your dealer to make sure you get the right one.

 

OEDiscountParts.com. It did take a little bit (coming from Germany) to get here but wasn't long at all.

So can we confirm that both A0008171701 & A0008171801 are the exact same product?

Just from different country of make?

I think A0008171801 is the Badge with out fixing mount and A0008171701 is with the Badge mount fitted to back from what I have seen.

 

If that is the case, then may I ask if the badge mount spring necessary? Or we can simply just reuse the old one?

 

I think so if you can remove without it breaking??
I think some of the other guys on the forum have done it what way.

 

Try and order A0008171701; took my dealer 2 weeks to get one in recently ...

 

Just put my order in at the MB dealership... they are indeed back-ordered. They said they'll just give me a call as soon as they get it in. Confirmed it's part # A0008171701.

 

Can anyone double confirm the difference between A0008171701 & A0008171801 ?

As A0008171801 is slightly cheaper..
