C63 coupe Mercedes star emblem removal
Any idea of what I can do now??

Mine was different since it was attached to the backup camera.
This is the way I did it, at a certain point you'll have to decide how to finish it off. In trying to remove the star from the camera cover I scratched the paint had to get that whole piece repainted. So all I can say is don't try to use a flathead screwdriver to lift the circle around the star up.
Somewhere in the infotainment screens you can open the camera. Do that.
Between the camera cover and the camera assembly there should be two small cutouts each of which you can place a finger in. Squeeze and then either slide up or down (sorry I don't remember) and pull. I had to squeeze reallyyy hard. Now you should have the white circular camera cover in hand.
From this point, do whatever you can to safely get the cover and emblem separated. I used a small screwdriver to push the pegs through. The adhesive around the edge of the emblem was my biggest issue and is what caused the scratch. But like I said, I didn't do it perfectly, and there is no right answer. Goodluck!

I started having the same issue with my camera star. I tried floss. Wound up using an exacto knife. It was then enough to break it off piece by piece. Then a little Brakeclean. Washed it good then pressed the new one on. Scratches are very possible. You must be very patient.
TBH, from most of your post, I wouldnt have expected something like that from you ( stating that its almost 250K worth of cars)
I mean, I know I dont care, as I didnt think it was a pissing contest, but I have 1 key that tops both of those plus add 150K more...
So I guess I will go take a pic of some OJ, and we can have mimosas
:-)

To your success, I say congratulations!

1. was able to remove the flap by depressing the tabs on the backside, used a flat head screwdriver one side at a time, it’s a bit tricky
2. Used wife’s hairdryer to heat it up for a minute
3. Tried using fishing line and while some was able to get tucked in there it was awkward and difficult to maneuver effectively so..
4. Used exacto blade and carefully worked it around circumferentially, slowly, ensuring not so scratch paint, once I was able to easily go around a few passes I started to rotate blade bit by bit moving all around in small increments to wedge it off. And finally was able to pull it off
5. Used fingers then goo gone to clean up remaining adhesive. then popped on emblem and reinserted onto car

Looks great!
I guess we were just all confused as to why the photo was posted with the conversation at hand, and that is the reason I responded that you must of "hit the bottle" early... ( as stated j/j <- = Just Joking )
Thats a GREAT x-mas present for sure, hope she has been enjoying the heck out of it.. (even thou covid restricted some things) Cheers

In progression...
I apologize if it gives the appearance of high jacking this thread. So, back to the rear star, finished product.
If you zoom in real close you’ll see a small scratch at the top of the star. It was a bear getting it off. But worth it.
