Starting from what date? I placed an order on 6/14. Build date is 7/16 with a delivery estimate of mid September. My dealer has no information about it being moved to a 2025 model.

I was told today that my build would be a 25. All the current orders for the most part will still be 24s but any new order that’s not on the lot or modifiable will be a 25. I was told this by two dealers this week.

In addition to the Sun Yellow and new wheel options, I noticed that the 339-AMG Performance Exhaust is listed as a $550 option on the 2025. The AMG Performance Exhaust is standard on the 2024 AMG CLE 53.

Interestingly, even though the CLE53 339-AMG Performance Exhaust is listed as a $550 option in the options section (page 13) in the 2025 order guide, it is still listed as Standard Equipment under Performance & Handling on page 6 at the beginning of the order guide. They probably will charge extra for it, but forgot to remove it from standard equipment.

Or they left off a word and there's a new "Performance Exhaust Plus" or "Performance Exhaust Advanced" version.

I checked out the window stickers of two 2024 CLE 53s at a dealer. Both have option code 339 for $550, but it’s called “AMG Real Performance Sound,” not AMG Performance Exhaust. My understanding is that AMG Real Performance Sound is the fake engine sounds brought into the cabin through the speakers. So, it looks like the AMG Performance Exhaust is standard and the AMG Real Performance Sound is a $550 option.

I hope that's the case , because in Canada the AMG Real Performance Sound (339) , only comes with the AMG drivers package . Surely the AMG Performance Exhaust is standard on an AMG ?

In Canada as well, if I recalled correctly, the 339 is just the piped in sound from the exhaust to speaker.

If that is the case, it is better to not have it depending on how authentic it actually sound and how isolated the car is isolating the exhaust noise out.

That said, can always crack the window or open the sunroof in that case.

The driver's package however adds a lot of goodies, I wish you can toggle the sound on and off depending on mood but that isn't the option.

It wasn’t an option to add or not add 339 to my build when the dealer and I configured my car. On the dealer configuration sheet it listed 339 as “switchable engine sound” as standard, but it did not appear on the final build order sheet when the order was sent to the factory. I really don’t know what to expect. I may have to wait for the car to arrive to find out. Maybe it will be more clear when the car is actually built and a VIN is issued. The fake sound in the cabin isn’t important to me though.
