***Official Wheel/tire/stance Fitment Thread***
I took my angle grinder and I found that panel you mentioned. I also ground away at the fender in the front, no rubbing now! Just to remind everyone, my rear et is 25 (wheel et 35 - 10mm spacer), I'm not lowered, and I'm using Michelin Pilot Super Sport 275/30/19 tire.
Some pics!
I'm going to have to do this at some point just for piece of mind. Did you paint or clearcoat the ground down area? If not, it will start to rust and no one likes that on a MB
Just sand the bare area good and feather around it - mask off EVERYTHING around it even if you don't think overspray will get on it (it will)-wipe down with mineral spirits and rattle can some clearcoat or paint or both on there and you'll be set.

Out of commission for 3 week seems likes it been longer but only has been one.
Koni adjustable coming in 3 weeks away
Wheels re chromed in Black chrome and ever 3 weeks away along with other parts that can be seen.
Eibach Springs here
Calipers cleaned and painted with Dupli-color Silver with new pads.
New back tires here BF Goodrich.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Also spacers 10 should be plenty you can go 12 if you want to fill up the wheel well a little more you will need longer lug bolts though and make sure the spacers are hub centric otherwise you will get vibrations.
with 10 mm space . can i use the stock bolts or need i larger ones.
here a photo http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...85982009_n.jpg
The bolts should be the m12x1.5 ball seat type. As far as the wheels go you need to look at one of the OEM wheels and one of the aftermarket wheels down in the lug bolt holes to make certain the seats look the same. Some aftermarket wheels do use cone seat.
You should be able to use the same length bolt front and back.
The length of the bolt you will have to determine yourself by measuring how much is sticking out the back of the aftermarket wheel. No more than 3/4-7/8"
Color of bolt is your choice. Dacromet coated is OEM
Can the protruding silver colored centre hub on the fronts be taken off because it looks like some sort of cap? Will spacers in the front solve my problem?
The front rims mount on fine if I take the center cap off. Someone please tell me what I need to do... I'm so depressed right now cuz I feel so lost

Thanks
I know Wes (Dyno) has a set, but has anyone else ran them?
Good place to purchase from?
Should I order them custom built or buy off the rack?
Thoughts?
