Some pics!

I'm going to have to do this at some point just for piece of mind. Did you paint or clearcoat the ground down area? If not, it will start to rust and no one likes that on a MB Just sand the bare area good and feather around it - mask off EVERYTHING around it even if you don't think overspray will get on it (it will)-wipe down with mineral spirits and rattle can some clearcoat or paint or both on there and you'll be set.

I'm really liking that silver caliper paint, are you going to get a replacement MB sticker to go on there?

to run ET45 you would need spacers to clear the calipers

spec is 225/40r18 and 255/35r18 staggered you can run non staggered 235/40r18 but I wouldnt go any bigger

Also spacers 10 should be plenty you can go 12 if you want to fill up the wheel well a little more you will need longer lug bolts though and make sure the spacers are hub centric otherwise you will get vibrations.

you will need longer lugs when you run the 10mm spacers

The bolts should be the m12x1.5 ball seat type. As far as the wheels go you need to look at one of the OEM wheels and one of the aftermarket wheels down in the lug bolt holes to make certain the seats look the same. Some aftermarket wheels do use cone seat.

You should be able to use the same length bolt front and back.

The length of the bolt you will have to determine yourself by measuring how much is sticking out the back of the aftermarket wheel. No more than 3/4-7/8"

Color of bolt is your choice. Dacromet coated is OEM
So the bolts and wheel locks finally arrived. However, when I tried to mount my front rims today the silver center hub (looks like a cap) was pushing my center cap off. My rims have these weird center caps that are thick and are held on by screws. The rear rims mount on perfectly because the rear hub doesn't have the protruding silver colored center hub like the fronts... is the hub different on the front because of the AMG calipers that come on the CLK 500?

Can the protruding silver colored centre hub on the fronts be taken off because it looks like some sort of cap? Will spacers in the front solve my problem?

The front rims mount on fine if I take the center cap off. Someone please tell me what I need to do... I'm so depressed right now cuz I feel so lost

Thanks

Any Forgestar F14 owners past or present?

I am considering new wheels for next summer. At first I really didn't care much for the F14's, but now I believe they are my likely choice.

I know Wes (Dyno) has a set, but has anyone else ran them?

Good place to purchase from?

Should I order them custom built or buy off the rack?

Thoughts?

Edit: I just saw it on my laptop... I think your car will look good with eibach pro kit IMO
