The Best of Mercedes & AMG

I need to start taking pics of the CLK. Just picked up a new lens for my camera and I'm dying to try it out... Weather has been up and down lately.
I'm waiting on my new 100-400 L as we speak I'm looking to build up to the "Canon Holy Trinity" which is the 35 L, 50 1.2 L, 135 L.
Expensive stuff right there lol.
I was debating whether or not to buy the 24-70 or the 35 L. Once I saw the images that the 35 creates, it just won me over. I may end up getting the 24-70 eventually though. It's an excellent walk-around low light lens.

I'm kicking myself in the *** right now for not bringing my DSLR on this trip, I'm in Cairo and there is blue sky, that doesn't happen much here, hopefully it'll still be blue when I get back in 10 days. I've got some great pictures of the pyramids with blue skies back in 2009 with my 400D but I need some with the 5D MKII now for some huge living room prints.
I learned a lot about photography with my 400D and got a lot of stunning pictures with it - a good eye will always trump equipment! After I felt I had gained all I could have of of my 400D I stepped up to the 5D MKII which I used when we were in London. Some of the pictures from the MB museum and around London are spectacular!
A word of advise - don't cheap out on lenses! I always bought good ones, mostly L series and now use them on my 5D MKII. I had some cheap lenses before and will never compromise on them again.

Yeah you had some great lenses with you on the trip.
There's a deal for a EOS1100D with a Tamron 18-200mm lens.
But I don't know if it's any good lens though?
